I've been waiting for the Mandarin since Iron Man so I'm excited to see him come to life, though I hope they retain the actual ten rings that he wears. I'm sure they have come up with some science based explanation for them so it'll be very interesting to see how they pull it off.

I'm going to have to go with Dredd on this. Batman would stand a fair chance, but would lose.

Honestly I've thought Sandman Mystery Theatre would be an amazing TV series, especially if it was done by HBO - kind of like Boardwalk Empire with the inclusion of a gas mask wearing vigilante. I've been a huge fan of the comic for a long time and it'd be nice to see DC put forward a show to explore really dark, complex themes on TV. That's the one that comes to mind immediately anyway.

I think the biggest problem was that they basically just said "Okay let's reboot!" without actually sitting down to consider what needs to be canon and what isn't. If they had done what television shows do and written a bible to give a clear cut idea of what's occurred in the timespan we're dealing with than a lot these questions could be avoided. But it probably came down to not wanting to step on any toes or anything because there were writers and artists who put a lot of great creative energy into stories that are now in the ether and with them just floating around they could still be canon allowing for Superman to make a reference to him getting pummeled to death by a giant Kryptonian rage tank. Although this could just be the writer having a bit of fun.

I'm still not a fan of the reboot, I find it very unnecessary, and it wouldn't be so bad if the majority of the books were actually decent. Some are okay, others aren't at all, the only New 52 book that I still am invested in is Earth 2 because that feels fresh and revitalizing. But who knows maybe they'll work it out someday.

The rights going back to Marvel would be a good thing; they'll do him justice and I have faith in their work. He can be included in the MCU pretty easily, even if they make his entry more dark and serious - that's the nice thing about universes: they're big and diverse. Giving little nods to surrounding events and even characters would be nice to see too - especially if it's the Black Widow (given their comic book history).

But on the other hand if they wanted to have him be kind of solitary and not have that many nods to the events in the other films they could set his film in the 1970s; it'd add some interesting history to the MCU. That way you could have it be a really fantastic dark and serious 1970s crime epic and introduce some characters who would be difficult to bring into the modern world. X-Men First Class was fantastic in it's 1960s setting and I feel like Daredevil could benefit from being set in a time of rampant corruption and crime. It'd bring in some great visual flare as well. So honestly that's the route I'd love to see them take.

Only time will tell.

I actually liked the Daredevil movie when it came out, and liked the Director's Cut even more, especially since it introduced me to Daredevil. But given Marvel's track record I can honestly say I'm rooting for them to get the rights back. They need their best characters in the MCU, from the bright and vibrant heroes (the Avengers) to the dark and edgy crowd (Daredevil, Punisher, ex cetera) because they can fit in the same universe and it'd be cool to see them fit in.

I'd heard a while ago that they wanted the Daredevil movie to be like Marvel's "Dark Knight" just a big crime epic with a noir tone and I'd still love to see them go through with that, because out of all the Marvel superheroes I think it fits with Daredevil best. Marvel knows how to adapt their characters to the screen so when, if, (probably) they bring him to theaters I'll be there to see it.

I'd figure Bane was in his late forties to early fifties. Considering Talia is at least in her mid-thirties and Bane had to have been at least 20 when she escaped. But personally I'd go with late late 40s.

In terms of actual Avengers on the team I'd love to see them bring in Black Panther, Ant-Man, and Doctor Strange. I know that Whedom said that the next movie would probably be smaller in scope.

"smaller. More personal. More painful. By being the next thing that should happen to these characters, and not just a rehash of what seemed to work the first time. By having a theme that is completely fresh and organic to itself." - Joss Whedon

So I'm guessing the villain won't have a vast army of space cyborgs for the team to fight. But I would like to see them go to different places in that universe like Wakanda or Atlantis, make the scope broader than in the first one.

I really like this idea, Affleck isn't Whedon (which isn't a bad thing) and he has the directing chops to probably pull it off he'd bring a interesting style to it. The thing that makes me really support the choice is that Affleck, like Whedon, puts emphasis on story which is where a movie like that can really work - especially if you don't do individual tie-in movies that lead up to the Justice League.

In terms of him only directing movies he's in; my first thought on who he'd play was Maxwell Lord, no idea why.

@SocialBat: I have to absolutely agree.
