@batkevin74: Finally a good Zsasz story! Very solid piece of writing. All of the fundamentals are there, I just feel like it would have worked better as a two-parter. Being that Zsasz is a shallow character and one of Batman's D-list rogues, a one shot is good at highlighting the danger he presents to the common man (i.e. us). However, the only thing this feels like it's missing is suspense. Considering this thriller starts full throttle out of the gate a slower pace before each death really would have sold this villain's actions. Given the attention span of the CV audience adding more context to this one shot would be nigh-impossible, which is why I'd prefer (nitpicking really) it as a two-parter. Regardless, this turned out great!
@nickzambuto: No problem! Just try not to let the lack of replies get to you. If you focus on putting out chapters feedback will come one way or the other. If you ever need an audience just type the @ symbol + my username.
Not much for me to say. What I liked most was Gamorra's initial reaction to Kitty bogarding all of Quill's hand-me-downs. Only dislike was no Rocket--seriously! The rest I can take or leave. Hopefully that indifference will change once the team chemistry is flushed out in upcoming chapters. There's not many people who can get me to read Marvel willingly, so consider that a plus. Welcome back.
@schillenger420: Yes but if we deported everyone who didn't give a damn about the world, there wouldn't be enough people left to run the world. You can't really punish people for apathy (at least without being despised as a tyrant) and you can't really solve most of the world's issues without empathy, so societies are left with the governments they deserve for the most part. I wish it wasn't true but one man can't rewrite human nature.
Citizenship is an outdated concept for me at least. With the way globalization and a variety of other socioeconomic dynamics work today it makes me think we should focus on enhancing human rights globally. It's just difficult to get anything done politically on such a large scale without getting into a debate over which countries have a authority to tell other countries what to do. Ironically, it's unethical for one country to force another county to accept their beliefs on ethics.
