@thehulk: It's simple marketing, the film is being put in 3d so they can charge almost twice the normal rate to go. The record labels who manage boy bands know that their selling a shitty product so they have to milk as much cash out of it as they can before the guys get too old. Lets face it, tween girls don't want to date 25 year old men (cause that's pedophilia folks, and no child has ever said "Wow, that guy can shove me in the back of his van anytime."). One direction probably has two years of sales before they become the Jonas Brothers.

Memento was an ok film but not particularly noteworthy. It is one of Nolan's better films (not as good as The Prestige though).
