In comic books, some characters believe that “With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility,” whereas others find that “With Great Power Comes Great Perks,” leaving those who lack power to often believe that “Power Corrupts.”

For this contest you will be creating a story about power; more specifically, a story involving a protagonist and antagonist’s relationship with their discovered superpower. Unlike most other CCC's this will require creating two original characters, both either having the same superpower or very similar powers. Use your creativity to show how the power can be used for good or evil. Shazam and Black Adam, Wolverine and Sabretooth, Spiderman and Venom, or the Flash and Zoom are all good examples of what I'm describing. Word limit is 2,000-4,000. The deadline is June 8th, 2015 at noon (New York time).

@wildvine: Drafted it 10 days ago. I'm just trying to stay humble.

@dngn4774: Thank you. That's why I didn't feel any emotion during the Wedding scene because I was like, ehhh "Aren't you guys going to possibly be not married when Barry messes with the time line?"

Well that was more like a "Screw it, if our reality is about to die we might as well make this real" scenario.

@lukehero: I liked that this episode had more emotion than most season finales.

Yeah I guess, but the pacing could have been done much better. It was 50 minutes of feelings and about 10 minutes of actually plot events. I didn't need to know how every single character would feel about a decision that was ultimately Barry's to make and had a 50/50 of nearly all of the characters forgetting it anyway.

@joygirl This could be a good place for Inferno.

@eisenfauste: I was speaking to the case that you brought up. The Coelacanth has a wider variation of physical features than most researchers initially found, making it possible for them to survive in different underwater environments, such features managed to be beneficial to its longevity and easily explains why scientists didn't initially catch it. If you aren't happy with your own example, why did you bring it up? Were you hoping that it would be a nice sound bite and no one would take the time to verify the validity of your statement?

@eisenfauste: That's a fish. Dinosaurs were wiped out by an ice age triggered by asteroid crash (wiping out surface life not sea life).

Easy, just swallow, smile for the camera, and say "Bangbros"
