@jbourne_32: 3 might be a problem to fill 23 hours with. If you look at Flash Season 2 they had to stall for almost ten episodes because they knew the Zoom fight would only last about 10 minutes.

@haydenclaireheroes Topic video: Should marvel try to do an animated movie universe? If they did would you prefer it separate from or as part of the MCU?

@haydenclaireheroes You think TV flashpoint is going to weakly retcon the Supergirl/Flash crossover?

I personally don't want Jessie Quick back. Put her on legends with the JSA where she belongs so that she can be on a show that uses her. Also, her name should be Jessie Wells if she's Harry's daughter. Especially if they won't ever bother explaining why her last name is different from her dad's.

@haydenclaireheroes I've always found Supergirl to be very "white bread" like most kryptonian characters. Aside from Connor's involvement on Teen Titans and YJ, the vast majority of the superfamily feels bland and in Clark's shadow.

Like most people I didn't like her red lantern arc or her initial New 52 origin (trying to put angst where it doesn't fit). Although I do appreciate the effort that her new 52 teams put in to make her stand out, the Rebirth livestream didn't do her book any favors. In fact of all the books it's the only moment I heard the hyped crowd fall dead silent. Then again, imo the art was actually the biggest draw to her book.

Tbh, I found pre-52 supergirl to be a cookie cutter character as well. One idea that could've made the Rebirth title great was if they changed the cannon to fuse her history with Powergirl's. Imagine if around the death of Superman Supergirl became the savior of Metropolis (you'd have to retcon out Matrix) and when Clark came back she was all but forgotten, and to make her own name for herself she moved to national city under the new alias Powergirl and had an alter ego as entrepreneur Karen Starr? Odds are that won't be happening, but it's funny to dream :)

@haydenclaireheroes Imo, nostalgia is an excuse not to be creative. The purpose of a reboot is to tell old stories in innovative ways for a younger generation. Once a reboot relies on fan service and at any point makes that obvious, it becomes cringeworthy. I can understand that sometimes reboots can alienate the older fans of a series, but when those older fans become possessive and demand more similarities to the older version it does a disservice to the creators and the newer fans by stripping away any creative liberties that could have given new fans a more original experience.

@2cool4fun: Just lose Jennifer Law- I mean, Mystique. She's garbage.

I agree with this sentiment. I can't stand whiny/heroic Mystique. I prefer her as a badass anti-villain who's commitment to the cause makes Magneto seem soft by comparison. Her origin as Xavier's stepsister/bff killed any love I could've had for this character.

@haydenclaireheroes The reason you feel that way about the ending is because neither Cap nor Tony died. The death scene in the comics makes the event feel irreversible, leaving a more physical void within the avengers team then the mental scars cinematic Zemo caused. Because they are both alive, it leaves viewers with the possibility of one day reuniting the team, and because that possibility isn't fully snuffed out, it makes the ending feel more abrupt than it actually is.

Yes. A thousand times yes. Olicity may not have been the only thing to ruin Arrow, but it certainly didn't help. Felicity was a much more likeable character before she became the hyper-judgmental saint we see nowadays. She used to be the voice of reason in the first two seasons, but as of late she's been the character who finds any excuse to push Ollie away. I'd go as far to say that she is emotionally abusive to him.

The only benefit this relationship had was that Felicity became so unlikable that it gave fans more patience with Laurel's development. Unfortunately all of that development was wasted when they killed Laurel off. Though, not before having her swear that Felicity was Oliver's true soulmate, and that she herself wasn't right for Oliver. Real classy CW.

Well I normally hate Morrison's writing, but I'm curious to see how he does in the Earth One format.

Urk. I sort of want to buy this, but I really don't like Grant Morrison.

LOL people crying over an Earth one book? Really? Do you know the point of making earth one books? LMAO...jesus.
