Doctor Brown and Electro can be found in this Ling >>> http://www.comicvine.com/forums/fan-fic/8/marvel-iron-age-electro-1/751709/ <<<

Portland, Maine

Derek Borons sat looking around the room of other strangers gathered at this 'pat-yourself-on-the-back-Iron Army/Ferrum function'. These parties happened every few months to remind the rich of their place; even though they had cash and were almost law unto themselves, the Iron Army put them there and will easily put them out on the street. Just like what happened to the Reilley's in New York and their son who turned out to be a Spider.

Derek shuddered at the thought of spiders, they made his skin crawl. His family had had an interesting history with spiders in all ways, shapes and forms. His family changed their name, a simple rearrangement of letters, to keep from being killed like great-great-great whatever Norman Osborn. Derek smiled politely as a robo-waiter refilled his glass and he flipped quietly through his holo-pad. He chuckled at the fanatic, xenophobic rants Jameson had about this creature roaming New York. The old buzzard always was in a flap about something.

Derek clicked another link, some more Iron Army propaganda about vampires. Derek scoffed, the amount of nonsense the holo-feeds ran each and every day to keep the masses fearful, scared and pliable to their aims. He clicked another link about Baron Zemo and the Avengers. Two teams emerging simultaneously, both at loggerheads with the establishment but one clearly evil and the other on the side of angels.

Derek smiled and clapped as a new General took the stage to waffle on about something. What was needed as a group somewhere inbetween. Slipping between the shadows, a legion or pack of sorts who could fight the good fight if need be or rip the starking hell out of you when needed. And not a stupid name like Avengers; what were they avenging anyway? No clear motives or goals, more like rescuers.

Derek motioned for another wine as he clicked on private holo- message from an old classmate, Professor Brown

"Hello Derek" the hologram of the tense and sweaty little man said "Could you come to New York. I need you to repay that favour I did you five years ago. You owe me! I wouldn't call otherwise"

Derek mused on the message and quickly purged it from his holo-pad. He waited for a break in the speech before excusing himself and heading for his hover-car.

"Leaving so soon?"

Derek stopped to see the stunning Colonel Daria Ngyuen standing in the lobby smoking a long filtered cigarette. She was quarter Vietnamese, quarter Peruvadorian, quarter French and quarter Persian and totally, completely beautiful. Her piercing brown eyes hardly ever blinked to match her crimson lips that barely ever smiled.

"My dear Daria" smiled Derek taking her hand "There is only so much stark a man can listen too" He gently kissed her hand before she snatched it back.

"The General wants to know..."

"Then General Macendale, can ask me himself, on Monday, in my office" said Derek clicking his fingers at the robo-valet for his car "I don't work for the Iron Army Daria, you know that"

"Everyone works for the Iron Army Derek" she retorted taking a long draw and blowing the smoke out her nose.

"I supply vitamin boosters and supplements to the highest bidder" said Derek snatching the keys "At the moment it's the army. But I hear there's a new Queen in Latveria...and a new regime means..."

Daria grabbed him by the forearm "Watch your tone Borons!"

Derek looked down at her hand and then back into her eyes "Colonel...remove your hand, before this turns into an incident"

The pair stared long into each others eyes, before she released him and Derek stormed off and got into his car

-Where to?- asked the onboard computer

"New York, now!" snarled Derek as the car took of into the sky.

2200 Colorado John Walker's Stronghold

He was freezing when he woke, it startled him, it felt like two seconds. The Cyro Chamber seal opened letting the freezing young man to collapse to his knees before an Adamantium vault. He remembered his Father working on it with William. He placed his palm on the scanner for the Vault.

"Jeremy Walker. Access Granted." A female, yet still robotic voice replied to the printing of his hand. His eyes wondered and he found a Holographic Projector alone, and damaged before his feet. He picked it up from the ground and examined it's errors. He never was good at fixing things, but this looked simple. Jeremy looked around the small, and destroyed lab for anything useful. He knew time had passed, but he didn't know how much time. It could have been 10, to 100. 162. That was how many years he had been in that chamber. Jeremy in frustration slammed his fist onto the Hologram Projector, surprisingly activating it. An image of John Walker appeared, in blue color.

"Jeremy, when you get this, I am assuming you will have already arrived in the year 2200." At that moment, Jeremy fought all of his tears and clenched his fists. He punched the wall violently and angrily. "You have to save everyone from this reality... And You couldn't be around in this time to do it, It's called the element of Surprise. And that is something us Soldiers love." Jeremy could tell that his father was holding back his tears the same as Jeremy was. "But you are more than a Soldier, You are a hero, You are My son. Listen, I have to go, but remember this. I won't ever be truly gone." Jeremy collapsed as the Hologram shut off. He buried his head in his palms and shed tears of anger and hatred...

**

Jeremy searched through the weakened stronghold, finding all that he could, Nothing really. Jeremy knew he had to Honor his Father, and The Way to do that was going to Ferrum in New York City. He grabbed the equipment he would need for his journey, it was pretty simple. A couple of Disrupter Grenades, Combat Knife, and an Energy Pistol. Jeremy walked his way out of the Stronghold which sat in a Cave, resting until he awoke. It just didn't make any sense, Why this year? What was so important about this certain year? It all didn't hook together, and it was up to Jeremy to find out.

Jeremy took the normal route he would to leave, but found it to be sealed off with a large metallic wall with a small doorway, which needed a code to be opened. Jeremy ran his hands through his blonde hair in Frustration. He attempted to hack the code but had no luck. He then sighed and looked to His Energy Pistol, which not until a few seconds later was aimed at the lock and fired. The Door opened and Jeremy looked out of the cave he once fought in and stared at the large city of Denver. It had grown since he last seen it, then again that was 162 years ago. "What in the hell happened?" He said and began to make his way to a cargo carrier which transported Tech from all of the United States to Ferrum. It took Jeremy awhile to learn what it was, but when he found out he sprinted even faster, chasing after the large flying carrier. He leaped out before it reached a higher elevation and caught a hold of the carrier, it lifted him high and it made him sick. Jeremy hated Heights. The Young Walker pulled himself up to see large amounts of Tech, in amazement he looked around at the items. He scanned the Iron Soldier Armor, they had improved a lot since he encountered one last. A door shut behind him closing off any openings in the Carrier.

One Day Later

The Cargo carrier zoomed at a high speed the entire day, with Jeremy inside in the shadows. Finally they arrived at Ferrum and large robotic figures began to unload cargo. He scanned the area just as the machine he was hiding behind was going to be lifted, revealing his presence, he threw One of his Grenades in the distance, shutting all the power off in the entire building, of course with the help of the rest of the five. Now was his Chance. Jeremy sprinted out with his Energy Pistol already unholstered.

Ferrum Containment Center

"Robert, supply us with all the Energy you can, We are having a minor Power outage, We don't want things to go bad before our guest arrives!" Professor Brown said with a chuckle. Robert was starting to like it. He focused his energy and his body lit up once more, a bright blue. He held his hands out and zapped a power circuit that Robert was taken too by Professor Brown. The building lit up again, bringing light all throughout the Building once more.

Ferrum Storage Facility

Jeremy was alerted at the power turning back on, but only meant that he had to speed it up. He looked to the area and found nothing, Nothing but An old suit which once belonged to Captain America and Photon Shield. Jeremy equipped the suit without hesitation. He stood tall in the Storage Facility and wore it proud. Jeremy latched the Photon shield's energy source around his wrist and activated it.

Iron Soldiers quickly invaded the building and blasted at Jeremy who quickly deflected it with his shield. Jeremy leaped out of the way of another blast.

"Get your Starkin' butt over here!" The Iron Soldier commanded as another opened fire.

"No thanks." Jeremy said and charged one of the Iron Soldiers who continued to blast at Him. Every shot was deflected by the Shield and led to the Iron Soldier taking a hard blow to the head from it. The soldier's crimson Visor shattered, and continued to be beaten down by Jeremy, who was then punched off by another soldier. He wiped blood from his nose and stood up facing five Iron Soldiers, who stood right in front of him. "Bring it." Jeremy challenged, with his Shield readied.

"We have to tell Doom that we found one of the starking Bloodsuckers." George said with his mini gun gripped tightly in his palms. It was loaded with specialized bullets created by Doom's best scientists, Along with the swords. A blue energy, designed to stun the Vampire's healing abilities, giving the Blades enough time to finish the kill.

"I wouldn't." Zane said, poking at the pale body with the tip of his boot.

"Why wouldn't we?" Nathan added to the questioning.

"Because we are going to kill them all first. The Crimson Fangs have been lurking underground this entire time... They've been around long enough." Zane replied and removed his blue sword from the corpses spine.

"Strangely I agree." Noah said standing beside the team.

Michael and Mark stood side by side, then looking to each other. The twins both struggled to pick a side. "We kill them all." The team all looked to each other in agreement.

"Let's keep moving." Noah said looking further out into the darkness.

"Alright, you guys go on ahead, I'll catch up." The african american man stated and the team continued on.

Sometime Later

"We've been out here for hours, there is nothing in these damn tunnels!" Michael Complained.

"Shut the Stark up, if there wasn't anything down here, then who did Zane kill back there?" George replied, while Nathan dropped down another glow stick on the floor to mark their trail.

"Who knows, maybe he is just the only one? These things have been here for many years right? He could have easily been the last one." Michael continued.

"We can't be sure until we finish them all off." Noah stated and quickly drew his weapon and pointed it to the shadows. "Did you hear that?" He added.

"Hear what?" Mark said with a brow raised, not with the entire team scouting the area.

"Someone is here...." Noah replied and narrowed his eyes.

"They're gone!" George said looking back to see all of their glow sticks gone. Only one remaining... Zane crawled into the light, his eyes were bloodshot and his teeth were soon shown... His two fangs were shown.

"Zane?..." George said aiming his mini gun down to the ground as Noah opened fire.

"TRAITOR!" Noah shouted and Zane deflected the energy powered bullets with his cyan blade.

"It's Zane stop!" George said and Zane's eyes narrowed at Noah.

Zane sped out dodging bullets fired by Noah. The other team didn't know what to do at first, pure shock. The blue blade sliced through Noah's thigh and he screamed in pain as everyone opened fire at Zane while he made escape into the shadows. At this point the team is unaware of the situation that just happened, and completely surprised. "Go find him, and go Kill him!" Noah shouted, while Mark and Nathan nodded after and sprinted into the shadows.

"No! Stop!" George said then looked to Michael who sighed and went with them. Noah held his bleeding thigh and cringed in pain. "Pick a side George... My side, your new leader, or the Vampire who betrayed us!" Noah growled after he spoke.

"Doom, It's about Zane. He is one of those starking Bloodsuckers." Noah spoke into his communicator as George ran his fingers through his hair.

"Leave him. I have it under control." Doom replied and Noah ended the connection.

"Want me to tell the others?" George said not making eye contact.

"No." Noah replied coldly.

Further into the Tunnels

"Come out traitor!" Mark called out while stepping throughout the cave, while the other members of the team ventured elsewhere.

Zane stalked Mark, he was following Doom's orders. That was what this was all about. He had to do this, and hated it. It was Zane's secret. He is half Vampire, half Human, a Daywalker. Ever since the project started years ago, Zane had to do the same thing. He took a serum to cloak the Vampire side of him, then lead his team into battle against the Vampires. Then He kills them, brings them to to The Crimson Fang. He's been doing it for years, Carrying on the Legend, The legend of the Blades. Zane aimed his energy pistol to the back of Mark's head, his finger itched the trigger. Was he going to carry on the Legend, the Legend of murder.... The Legend just to strengthen the trust between The Crimson Fangs. No... It was time to take the fight to the Crimson Fangs, no more lies...

TO BE CONINUED...
