This was a great issue. They way this series blends the emotional aspects of the turtle family with the amazing action scenes keeps me coming back month after month.
I love the cover. It really sets the tone for this issue nicely. When raph gave alopex the hotdog and she then came and joined them all.. My heart must have grown 3 sizes
Pretty cool that the two posterboys for archery, from DC and Marvel, both have series that are doing better than maybe anyone expected. Both well written with distinctive visuals. Good stuff!
I get that mckillen is a tough chick, But i really have to agree that it was disheartening to see someone such as her getting the best of bats, even if for just a few panels.. I liked this issue though and the pages with harvery were amazingly done.
This relic character looks like some villain that dragon ball Z would cook up. Not saying thats necessarily a bad thing. I really like that last panel of him though
The alternate green lantern seems to be very nervous and unsure, which is a polar opposite of what hal is like, so thats pretty cool. Im wondering about that butterfly myself.. haha
I've been hearing alot of good buzz about what valiant is putting out, and after reading a bit about the premise of this series, I have to admit that I am very intrigued. I have been looking for something else to get into and this looks like it could fill that gap. Ive also decided to check out a bunch of other comics that they put out, because from the bits and pieces that i have seen, it looks like they're doing real quality work.
