I agree as well. too many members. that is why their are going to be 7 books. they are leaning towards smaller teams having maybe 5 members each like the O5

I actually think Beast will die. Reason being that he has gone down a path that no one goes down. To solve the mutant problem he webt to Sinister, Doom, and many other evil geniuses. However, I think his death will unite the X-Men.

and I am starting to strongly belive Xavier is the traitor. if you thinmk about it the first part gave it away. He looked like two different people. One was normal, but when he contacted Scott and Emma he looked evil.

As for the Scott/Emma duel leadership that will change. From what I could tell, Emma was more than happy to let Scott head the show

of course we then have the Battle From Hell in MCX Chapter 12. X-Men/Uncanny X-Men VS New-X-Men VS X-Factor VS X-Force VS Marauders VS Acolytes VS Predator X VS Purifiers. For the X-Men to win the battle, Purifiers and Predator X need to be taken out. The Marauders and Acolytes will cancel each other out, leaving the X-Teams to fight each other. WTF^^

as for a team, I would go for a Psychic Backlash: Team Leader: Xavier. Jean Grey, Psylocke, Emma Frost, Stepford Cuckoos, Hellion. If we can throw villains I would also put Exodus on the team.

Rogue was decent in adjectiveless until that book was reduced to just three characters. Psylocke was good on the Blue Team of the 90s. Shadowcat on Astonishing is pretty good

my best team though would be the O5, only replace Jean with Emma or Psylocke

I announced the ones taken over for Whedon and Cassady on Astonishing. The writer is Warren Ellis and the penciller/colorer is Simione Bianchi. As for the team they did release an early version. The team was Cyclops, Emma Frost, Colossus, Shadowcat, Beast, Wolverine, Armor. Thts is going to change because Wolverine will be gone and Armor will be either following Wolverine or going in the New X-Men

Here is who I see as the teams. Some are confirmed

X-Force: Wolverine, X-23, Hepzibah

Astonishing: Cyclops, Emma, Colossus, Shadowcat

All of these are valid points, but I still think Emma would either take it or it would be a draw. While Jean is a more powerful PSI, putting Emma in space will not do anything, since like Colossus, she doesn't need to breathe in diamond form. The water thing would not work either. and if you are thinking of TK, unless Jean knows Emma's weak spot in diamond form all the things she hurls won't do a damn thing. This is a woman who went toe to toe with World War Hulk and was the last X-Man standing. Also read Astonishing X-Men. During the Danger Arc, the danger room said, "UNABLE TO PENETRATE AT CURRENT MASS" Emma was the only one who Danger could not physically defeat and she took out the others quickly. It has also been proven in issues that SHE HAS NEVER BEEN KNOCKED OUT IN DIAMOND FORM. Even when she was shattered and appeared dead, she was still conscious. It has been proven, in diamond form, Emma is immune to telepathy because she has no feelings, no emotions and that is what telepathy works on. Her mind is pretty much shut off. And if you say she cannot lift up to 50 tons, read the official Marvel handbook. New ratings have her Strength at 5 which is CLASS 75, meaning she can lift between 25 and 75 tons. To put it simply, her abilities are inconsistent and I do not think we will fully understand them until we see what Ellis will do in the new Astonishing. I go with KOK on this one. Plus if you read issues where Emma shows up, she has various other mental attacks she could use. I can give those feats and the proof. but this is why I hate Jean VS Emma threads. to me the fight is null and void because Jean is dead and according to official sources isn't coming back so soon.

Okay. Just checked the latest post MCX news and we have confirmed titles. X-Force, Cable, and Astonishing X-Men. X-Force is already known with that team. Cable is Cable and Astonishing is going to be the core book. That lineup is going to change, but Cyclops and Emma are given, since if neither are killed MCX will bring them closer together.

and this better not happen: A person said, " with cerebra exploding, from the birth it could be Phoenix. which means Jean.."

whoever said that should know they are wrong, since

1. It was announced very early that there will be no Phoenix resurrection

2. the baby is not a character previously part of the Mrvel Universe

I think the following, to me from one woman's standpoint

1. Emma Frost

2. Psylocke

3. Zatanna

4. Jean Grey

5. Storm

if you are tired of the killing and revivial, it is confirmed that there wil be no resurrections this time. those dead will stay dead. but I do miss Jean and she was integral for the X-Men. I just would have loved to see how she would have done in Messiah Complex.

still she should have at least DIED FIGHTING Xorneto. and, unfortunately most hardcore Jean fans aren't upset that she is dead. they are more upset that they put Frosty with Cyclops after she tried destroying their marrige. Which by the way was Cassandra Nova's doing. Either that or Xorn's and the mainipulating of the Stepford Cuckoos.

on the other side of the coin, hardcore Jean fans will be disappointed that if Cyclops and Frosty survive MCX< they will be closer together.

to end this, Jean was great and we all loved her, but the past is the past. After all, if you read New X-Men 156, Scott said, "It is time to move on." and the Phoenix hovered over Jean's grave.

and as much as this will anger the hardcore jean fans, an event occurred because Cyclops left Emma. Somehow those two are integral for the future. Jean saw it and made Scott stay with Frosty.
