You know this is about the first time I've seen Diggle put in a battle he actually wins. Yet I can't help but still feel someone will come in here over stating him.

@wolverine08: He's the guy Vanilla Ice ripped off then tried to deny it. You know them because I know how you love your hip hop GoaT Vanilla Ice.

@renchamp: Which one had the swear and what was it? I ask because honestly don't remember posting one. I'm usually pretty good at that type of thing and don't want to repeat it.

I hoping this was a reminder and not an official warning

EDIT: Never mind I remember. It was sh.... right? Didn't think I needed to censor that. You know there is another word on this thread that is worse right?

@cattlebattle: I counted those among my longer list of reasons. Some I feel are legit problems, others are just personal preference, and key aversions points she hits with me.

The alternate reality thing was a problem from the beginning. When she first shows up the purpose of her character is to prevent the Days of Future Past events from happening.....and that, is always a cool narrative conflict for a character, what kind of soul less person would not like Terminator after all. Then, after its revealed she is from an alternate reality, she is just stunted and kind of loses all purpose...."Oh well, I am just going to make a life with my dead friends who aren't dead here". You would figure her primary goal would be to find the past of her actual reality and stop her future from happening, but I guess with all that was going on with the X-Men comics in the mid 80s, Claremont lost direction with her.

Agreed. To me she still feels like an out of place outsider. Give me something that makes her own place in the universe. Something to care about. All these years at least to me I get nothing but a just visiting vibe off of her. It's hard to get invested. I'd be more interested if they shipped her off to some kind of Exiles team of time/reality displaced characters, or something

then why waste your time in reading a post for the character you hate. isn't it a waste of time and energy for you? just how stupid can you get?

First of cool it with the attitude. I've been cool towards you so there is no need for insults. Second why "waste your time" replying to me without tagging me to make sure I get it? I don't hate her. I dislike her. There are other reasons for going into threads of characters you dislike.

  • You might be interested in the topic. I.E. Casting choices which I am.
  • Having a dislike in a character does not equal a disinterest in said character
  • You just might have something to share.
  • or a various amount of other reasons.

No matter the reason it's for me to decide if it's a worth posting.

Oh You've done it now. I know at least one user who's going to crawl out of the wood work with a pitch fork and torch because of this thread.

Anyway Yes and no. At first she should come from a place where she learns as much from "mans world" as she tries to teach it. Meaning she should be portrayed as having a bit of that biased/prejudice from the culture she has grown from. Then after she learns more about the world other than the singular narrow minded viewpoint of the Amazons she grows as a person making her better than the other Amazons better and the world will be better for her more rounded influence.

yeah I'm sure this post didn't help any either. :p
