@faradaysloth: Ah but if they talked about him how could they pat themselves on the back for being so much smarter and of better moral fiber than the wretches that believe Columbus while at the same time taking another dig at something American.

@jakefuryv2: Never got into Madison Rayne, something about her face weirds me out like she had to much work done on it but with the time she put in with TNA it's good she's getting her shot.

Here is what I thought of some others.

• Kaitlyn: It's good she's getting another chance even though I feel she's only in it because of her divorce. Don't know much about her as she was around while I was taking a WWE break. She looks MUCH better now that she's bulked down and got rid of that poodle hair. Seriously I cringed every time I saw it.

• Rhea Ripley: Is a beast and looks like a legit threat though I'm just not drawn to her.

• Kacy Catanzaro: American Ninja Warrior. I want to route for her so bad. She's cute, athletic and has a nice energy to her. My only problem with her is her size. They couldn't have picked a worse opponent for her to go up against. Made it hard to suspend disbelief.

• Jinny: No just no. Don't like her look or her wrestling and seriously think she's going to break those twigs she calls legs if she's not careful.

• Io Shirai: She's built a name for herself and she has the skill. Even if you don't know her you can just see in how she holds herself that she owns that world.It's something I've only seen in veteran male wrestlers. Still at this time she's not someone I look for.

• Jessica Elaban: I'm either going to become a mark for her act or grow to hate it due to how obviously put on it is.. She reminds me of GLOW. I do know there isn't room for her and Baley unless one of them changes their gimmik.
• Mercedes Martinez: Not sure why but something has me routing for her.
• Kavita Devi: The less I see of her the better.
• Mia Yim: She's ok. Not someone I look for.
• Zeuxis: No thank you as you know my disdain for more mask wearing wrestlers.
• Isla Dawn: I can see stories done with her gimmik but just not interested in her alone. She would have to grow on me over time with stories.
• Toni Storm: She's changed since the last Mae Young's classic. I liked her then and she's only improved since. She's the top person I'm routing for and I want her in WWE.
• Aerial Monroe: I thought she should have won her match. She's got a good vibe. I may not want her to win the whole thing but she shouldn't have lost in the first round.
• Vanessa Kraven: No thank you. Only thing that stand out is her size
• Zatara: Again me and lucha masks don't go together.
• Xia Li. She was interesting.
• Allysin Kay: Not thank you.
• Rachel Evers: I'll say this. She's grudgingly grown on me. She has alot going for her. Though I see she's perfect for WWE I don't see her becoming a top star.
• Taynara Conti: Haven't been watching NXT so I missed her there. Still she has a great look and can move well. I only have one issue with her and it was that yelling and crying she did at the end of her match. It's weird from her. She should be more collected and targeted.

THere are more but I can't remember my impressions of them.

Edit: Cena really does look like JBL.

The Mae Young Classic has been better this year in that there is less botches and less awkwardness between the female wrestlers. There are a couple I wouldn't mind seeing in WWE.

Yes it was which is a surprise to me. I don't usually like 205 matches when I saw them in the past.

@cattlebattle: It's lowbrow PR to simplistically and emotionally appeal to the masses with little effort.

• I haven't watched AJ/Joe and fast forwarded past them. Just haven't been interested even though they have an actual story going on for once. Fast forwarded it.
• I can see why people like New Day but they do need to change it up a bit. Give some substance to them. Fast forwarded it.
• Wasn't a fan of the bella tag match. I'm kinda cooling on Rhonda's style and booking though I still want her to succeed. Beck/Char one was good.
• Cena gets too much hate but I still think it's time for him to move on. I don't care about his matches anymore. Don't like Lashley or Owens. Eliaas is ok. I fast forwarded the matcch.
• Even though I like the IIconics I fast forwarded the match.
• I love Undertaker, HBK, and HHH but I fast forwarded it. It's painful to watch. I rather remember them in their prime and not broken old men.

Wasn't really a compelling PPV for me.
