@cattlebattle: Bobby starts saying lyrics to a Run DMC song

A scene so simple and irrelevant yet so great.

@fallschirmjager: The way Kryptonian's have been portrayed they were capable of technological things we can't even imagine and given its in a fictional universe where they're doing things crazy for actual reality, that's saying something.

You could say the exact same thing about Reed though.

You can't say that of either because the writers are the ones who imagine it. :p

I thought so too at first and I'm sure some will use it that way. Though for some others I guess this opens discussions on what you think would happen that doesn't involve just fighting. The question is what will the posters do. Mods will eventually lock them if those problems surface.

Can't Atlantis just flood the world?

Aquamans trident can control water, but we have never seen it control masses of water as big as the ocean

They could probably build something that could flood the ocean.

He did it in Flashpoint.

IIRC Aquaman flooded places because he was using Geo-Force that was imprisoned in a machine. So flashpoint example wouldn't work in this case.

I don't want to see him there unless it's in another corner of the universe with Dr strange where it's darker/horror and less super hero'y.

This brings up a question that I had before. If they went heavier on the science space alien Asgardians instead of the Magic mythilogical gods because they wanted to be more....... I forget how they described it. Lets say real for arguments sake. What are they going to do with Dr Strange?

I made a thread about that, this is what Feige said about magic in the MCU:

Are you watching the Cosmos series? That’s magic, [the quantum physics]. It’s unbelievable. If somebody knew how to tap into that stuff, what’s the difference between that and magic?

You don’t get into it in Harry Potter, but if a scientist went to Hogwarts he’d find out how some of that stuff is happening! We’re not going to spend a lot of time on that, but there will be some of that. And particularly for a character like Strange, who goes from a man of science to a man of faith and who traverses both worlds. And sometimes there won’t be an answer! Sometimes he’ll want an answer - “How is this happening?!” - and nothing.

So basically there will be no magic and instead Strange will be using the power cosmic.

That's highly disappointing. I disagree with his views on magic and science. Sadly for people like me that is an opinion that is gaining more and more ground.

Have your link? I'd like to see some other opinions.
