Intros

The Joker

The Joker is man who needs no introduction.

Yokai

Yokai is the villain of the movie Big Hero 6. He is just a normal dude wearing a technological mask that controls millions upon millions of microbots, like we see here:

Loading Video...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYnHe5SovKk

He is pretty decent at it for a robotics professor.

Xenomorphs

These guys are scary dudes that eat trained well-armed soldiers for breakfast. They also excel at fighting superhuman invisible foes.

Loading Video...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_qQhFo07Gg

I only wish I had facehuggers as well.

Issues

Flight Ceiling

The rules state that all flight is limited to 30 feet off the ground, which would include your "stealth" bomber should you decide to hitch a ride. Even the best pilots would have extreme difficulty flying that low, which means maneuvering is basically impossible. In addition, the microbots can grab the giant plane out of the air and crash it. Hope Neku is fast enough to open the hatch and get out or that is a one hit KO.

Invisibility

Miles can turn invisible but that feat of him "ghosting" Spider-man only works because Miles is not a threat to Spider-man. Had Miles been a threat to Spider-man, his invisibility wouldn't work. Aunt May has gotten in slaps on Peter that he wasn't expecting because he doesn't view her as a threat. Joker will have Spider Sense and Xenos track via some unknown sensory organ that allows them to track cloaked Predators. Your invisibility is largely useless.

Empathy

You really want to use Empathy on the Joker? The Joker? Outside of Batman, everyone who has tried to empathize with the Joker ends up taking a dip in chemicals. I hope you have some good willpower for Kengo because he will need alot because otherwise your Kengo, becomes my Kengo.

And you want to empathize with a Xenomorph? Last guy who did that ended up freeing the Xenos and then letting themselves get eaten. The Xenos are a hivemind of millions, once they detect the intrusion, they will corrupt Kengo. Again, I hope you have some good feats.

Scanning

You want to scan the Joker's mind? You will get nothing of value from it as the Joker's mind is chaos. You got feats for him scanning someone like Joker? If not, all you get back is useless.

The Xenos, being a hivemind, will just straight up fill drown Neku under a deluge of information from millions of Xenos. Good luck trying to find info on the 8 I have.

Dolls

The Joker has Spider Sense, he'll be able to pick out the real Kengo regardless of how much he wants to camouflage himself.

The Xenos have no eyes so taking the appearance of someone means nothing to them.

Perk Confusion

Martial Arts are combat skills not stealth skills, you don't get Batman's stealth feats.

You completely neglected to use your ammo and reload perks, I hope that doesn't come back to bite you.

I do find it hilarious that even you don't consider the 30 SWAT guys are even worthy of a mention.

Game Feats

It is great that you want to use game feats but there are many caveats to doing so. The main one is speed. It is very difficult to prove a character is fast in a real time video game without a timeslow/stop mechanic. All video games are designed to be played by humans not superhumans so nothing that your character can do can be considered anything more than peak human. The Beat Fight suffers from this fact, it doesn't matter how fast it looks, it is only as fast as peak human. Unless you have feats of him performing something at superhuman speeds outside of that boss fight, it doesn't prove anything about Neku's speed.

That Joshua Feat is just him using a TK shield. We have seen peak human people perform such feats without issue. In fact, Neku straightup got shot and did nothing to dodge. At best, Neku is peak human.

Teamwork

So, you think that Miles Morales is going to be okay with carpet bombing people? He will not allow such a murderous action. If Kengo tries to empathically manipulate him, that will definitely set off his Spider Sense which will make Miles more likely to oppose your team.

He would also be very wary of working with the League and the Cadians as they are all murderers.

My team on the other hand are all 100% okay with murdering even children so murdering your team won't even register.

Prep

So let's talk about how my perks shake out, Yokai is getting the Unlimited Ammo, Out of Character, and the MCU Vibranium Coated Weapons. Now applying Unlimited Ammo to Microbots seems pretty unfair but not when you think about it. However, unlimited ammo doesn't mean you are physically carrying unlimited bullets, it just means that you always have a replacement clip ready to go. In the event that you manage to destroy or otherwise incapacitate some Microbots, they will be replaced.

The Jokai Rises

Now as Yokai's character is to use his mask and fight foes, he'll be doing the opposite of that, he'll be giving up his mask and fleeing. The Joker will pick up his mask and use the MCU Vibranium Microbots to send him as far as he can. The rules say that only the character can benefit from assigned perks, but it says nothing about letting another character use the object that controls the items effected by the perk. As long as Yokai is still alive and kicking, the Jokai can make use of his unlimited MCU Vibranium microbots.

Microbots can move at higher speeds than a fleeing Fiat. Which puts them at about 90 mph. This means that Joker can get Yokai approximately 80-ish miles away which puts him well outside of your scan/empathy range so he won't be scannable or empathically vulnerable.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnharrldXb4

Not that he'd know anything of any value anyways because my the Joker would be the only one with the plan.

Home Alone

Now, once the Jokai has dealt with that, he'll go about destroying the airport with his unlimited MCU Vibranium Microbots. Once it has been leveled, he'll replace it with a funhouse made of Microbots. He won't be hiding, but your team will need to do some seeking. He'll even make it 30 feet high so as to block anything trying to fly over it. He'll build little enclosures for the Xenos so he can spring them on your team wehn needed. He'll also have a batch of his home cooked Venom ready to release.

Since nothing on your team has more power than Thor bringing down his hammer, they will be unable to move or damage the Funhouse.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BydGYKnG6M

He'll have his Xray Specs on and will be waiting on the battle to start.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3SmTXUasKc

Battle Strategy

For funsies, let's assume that Kengo and Neku aren't driven totally insane by the Joker or the Xenos despite that being the most likely outcome of trying to mentally overpower either of them. So, let's say that they got nothing of value from it, but they also didn't go crazy. That seems a fair compromise until you show me better feats.

Since your bomber is limited to 30 feet high, Jokai's Spider Sense will detect it with no problem. With his Captain America reflexes and Deadshot Accuracy, he'll rip it out of the air and crash it into the ground. Since he doesn't have wall crawling, Neku will be inside the plane. I don't think Neku is going to be able to get out in time. His teleportation looks to be line of sight and no passing through objects. Unless you have feats for this teleportation showing him able to Miles will probably be on the outside of the plane as Spider-men are wont to do, so he'll survive. Now the tragic part is that since the plane and your team both start in the same place, that bomber is going down on top of your team.

But let's assume that your people on the ground and Miles made it to safety just to keep things interesting, RIP Neku. Now they are left looking at this funhouse on my side of the map. They can't do anything to it because it's MCU Vibranium. This leaves them with only one option, go inside. It looks like a trap, because it is totally a trap. Regardless of when or how you enter, once inside the atrium, the Joker will release his Joker Venom. Any unlucky souls who enter will be infected and be able to infect others.

There is no easy way to cure it and no one on your team really has the resources to make one. Let's see how you want to approach the Funhouse.

Conclusion

Your team is interesting, much more varied and capable than the team in the other tourney, but it simply is not equipped to deal with the Joker.

You must prove:

Kengo does not go insane trying to empathize with the Joker.

Neku does not go insane from the millions upon millions of Xeno minds.

Neku can get out of the bomber before it explodes.

Your team can avoid the crashed exploding bomber.

You have a plan to beat Jokai's deadly Funhouse.

Intros

I am going to start with introducing my team by most dangerous to least dangerous.

Ringwraiths

The Ringwraiths are simply put one of the most dangerous "fodder" in the tourney. Only a handful of other fodder can put them down for good.

One of them just happens to be a guy by the name of Talion.

Loading Video...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_NVBceKwX0

With his magics and skills at my command, he'll make short work of anything.

The Rings of the Nine they were also keep them alive.

Loading Video...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_0gRIKQcnk

Talion was dying, he puts on a Ring and he is not only alive but an army unto himself. He can raise the dead, teleport, he has Wraith Vision, he can manipulate wraith energy for a number of effects, he can even psychically dominate weak minded foes.

Though his brothers are not quite at his level they are no slouches. Like Talion, they are virtually unkillable, teleporters, and wraith energy manipulators.

It took a magic blade to even allow a non-wraith to even kill the Witchking.

Loading Video...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaXZyXMeD74

Your team has none of those.

Borg Drones

The Borg Drones are not dangerous for their combat abilities, they are dangerous for their ability to assimilate, upgrade, and facilitate communication. But they also provide relative immunity to mental manipulation.

Watch how quickly it takes to drastically change a human being.

Loading Video...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFcNdepOFBM

Poor Neal McDonough! The best part, their assimiliation works extremely fast.

Loading Video...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFyuvNxQhHM

You can see her inject some nanoprobes and nearly instantly the system changes. Basically, as long as I can feed it the requisite materials, my Borg Drones can make whatever I need them to make. They also make even freshly assimilated drones into peak humans with energy shields. I hope you weren't relying on too many energy-based attacks.

Dai Li

The Dai Li are probably the best all around fodder benders in Avatar. They can move massive amounts of earth quickly, slide on stone, use their stone hands for capture and ranged combat.

Loading Video...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdr37aNZetM

They add massive utility and mobility to my team while also allowing me to manipulate the battlefield to my will.

T-X

The T-X series or Terminator is the strongest Terminator available. It can shapeshift, has built in weapons, and could control other machines in addition to its Terminator-level durability and strength. These things are powerful but they are merely enforcers.

Loading Video...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qr43uRVaBbY&t=1s

Loading Video...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjSjTusEwZo

This thing is a beast on its own, I have 5 of them.

Mumakil

These beast are gigantic and come with their own archers. They can basically ignore small arms fire and can devastate an entire cavalry charge with no issue. You need extreme skill to even stop one on your own.

Loading Video...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jl8TiA3RwIY

Fell Beasts

Fell Beasts are capable aerial combatants capable of grabbing at least 4 fully armored men and throw them as if it were nothing and also destroy small trebuchets. They also appeared to have some form of sonic attack that can break weak minds.

Initial Opposition Concerns

Pokemoning

As we are discussing Pokemon, it is only natural to observe type effects. Since these are weaknesses built directly into them, my team has many hard counters to your team.

Onix

Onixes are weak to Ground, Steel, and Fighting. Between my T-X and my Dai Li, I have hard counters to your Onixes. But even beyond that, Onix has portions of its body that are made of Stone, just one of my Dai Li can basically kill it or take control of it. You only have 3 and I have 25 Dai Li. These things are either dead or belong to me.

Pikachu

Pikachus are weak to ground which means my Dai Li hard counter them. All they have to do is open the ground beneath them and swallow them up. I have 25 Dai Li, you have 12 Pikachus, I can literally double team each one.

Haunter

Haunters are weak to Ghost, Psychic, and Dark. My Ringwraiths are Ghosts, Psychic, and Dark, they are the perfect counter to your ghosts especially Talion and the Witchking. I have 9 Ringwraiths, you have 6 Haunters. Oddly enough, these guys are one of the few foes that could actually give my Ringwraiths a challenge but there is just far to few of them.

Bulbasaur

Bulbasaurs are weak to Flying, Fire and Psychic. My Ringwraiths are Psychic, my Fell Beasts are Flying, and my T-Xs are Fire. I have 9 Fell Beasts/Ringwraiths and 5 T-Xs, you have 12 Bulbasaurs.

Pidgeotto

Pidgeotto is weak to rock and electric. My Dai Li and my T-Xs can both easily counter your Pidgeottos. I have 25 Dai Li and 5 T-Xs, you have 20 Pidgeottos.

Communications

We know from the show that Pokemon can talk to each other and Humans can talk to Pokemon, but Pokemon cannot talk to humans. This means that while you can give orders, they cannot relay back useful information to you.

This also creates another problem because you picked nothing that came with advanced communications so you are stuck with bog standard comms. Those comms will be hacked by the Borg in 1 second flat which means I'll know what you are telling your Pokemon to do. I will also know which Pokemon you have, and your numbers. Because I have played Pokemon Red and watched the first 2 seasons of the show, I will recognize them and know how to counter them. In addition, with Universal Translator Tech from the Borg, I can even speak the various languages of the Pokemon.

I can also just straight up jam your signal and then use the T-Xs to mimic your voice. I can actually redirect your Pokemon into traps. Since I have a number of hard counters for your Pokemon, I can just straight up murder them before they even know they are under attack.

Composition

Had you chosen at least some humanoids for your team it would make finding you a little more difficult. As it is, I can tell my team to kill the lone human that is not on my team and you lose. You have no one to hide behind or even attempt to trick my army.

Battle Strategy

At the very beginning of the battle, my Borg will begin assimilating everyone on my team except the Ringwraiths and the Dai Li. Ringwraiths are immune and I can't reliably prove that the Dai Li could still Earthbend after assimilation. This includes me. Once assimilated, my body is immaterial and you have to kill the last assimilated unit to kill me. I am now one with my team. An assassination strike will not work on me anymore.

While the Borg are busy, the Dai Li will all work together and shift my entire army underground. As your team only has one unit that can even find me underground much less get to me, I am functionally immune to your team.

Once underground, the Dai Li will escort the 80 assimilated archers on my team in searching the 3 buildings for any tech or appliances. Once identified, the Borg will teleport it underground where they will convert it into tech for my team. I will be giving everyone borg energy weapons.

Loading Video...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PSFs7HHVo8

For the larger beasts, I will be mounting Plasma Cannons and Flamethrowers

Loading Video...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DepYr-JHMuU

Transporter tech doesn't typically teleport something as large as a Fell Beast or Mumakil. I likely can't give them teleportation but everyone else now can.

Shields have encompassed things much larger than my Fell Beasts and Mumakils so they and the rest of my assimilated team will all be shielded.

I end up with after my upgrades:

  • 96 Borg Drones with teleportation, shields, energy weapons, and peak human stats. (One of these is my body.)
  • 5 T-Xs with teleportation and shields in addition to their other abilities.
  • 8 Mumakill with shields, plasma cannons, and flamethrowers in addition to their gigantic size.
  • 9 Fell Beasts with shields, plasma cannons, and flamethrowers in addition to their flight and scream attack.

Once I am done upgrading my army, I will hack your comms and begin setting up traps for your Pokemon. As I can literally open the ground and come out of nowhere, your Pokemon won't be expecting it.

  • I'll heard deployed Bulbasaurs into my Mumakil's flamethrowers, where they will be burned to ash.
  • I'll move your deployed Pikachus into a team of Dai Li who will force them underground. Once they wear themselves out, my Borg Drones will assimilate them. Thanks for the new units!
  • I'll corral your deployed Onixes into more of my Dai Li who will kill them by ripping the stone from their bodies.
  • Your deployed Pidgeottos will be shifted into my upgraded Fell Beasts, Assimilated Pikachus, and Dai Li.
  • Your deployed Haunters will be ambushed by 8 of my Ringwraiths.

About the only thing you can keep control of is what is physically near you but not for long. One of my Dai Li and Talion will travel the map underground. His wraith vision goes through walls and can detect humans. Once he finds you, he will find a vantage point and proceed to use Shadow Pull to teleport you into his waiting blade.

Loading Video...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_AsuHHn0biE

This is the folly in having no humans to hide within.

Conclusion

I have a larger army, a stronger army, a more versatile army, and I can hard counter your Pokemon.

Ultimately, what power you gain from having Pokemon is instantly degraded by the communication issues and lacking humans to hide with. The elemental counters just make this whole thing worse.

You'll need to show you can:

  1. Stop the Borg from manipulating your communications
  2. Find my team underground
  3. Halt the Borg from upgrading my team
  4. Counter my hard counters of your Pokemon
  5. Prevent Talion's assassination
  6. Kill my entire team, because an assassination will not work

If you can do all that, this is a fight. If not, this is a slaughter.
