@CitizenBane: Yeah; was thinking of further examples you could use (Red Skull, Thanos.) On a more topical note, there are very few, but deep down, I can't see the son of Reed and Susan going crazy. Provided he's given a stable upbringing.

(stable for the Fantastic Four, anyway.)

@CitizenBane: Just noticed him.

Honestly, if a reality warper can grow up to be stable, at all, it'll be him, I reckon. I'm not just saying that because I like the Richards children.

(Also, can someone with a Cosmic Cube be considered a reality re-writer?) Don't get me wrong, I like your theory, and it makes sense. I wanna prove it further.

@Supreme Marvel: Maybe it's just me, but I found Grounded (along with All-Star Superman) to be some of my favorites; All-Star was high-flown fantasy, without an incredible deal of continuity, but Grounded got to me deep down. It felt good to read about a fictional character, someone like Superman, solving an imaginary world's problems. No doubt it got to me more, considering I was unemployed and homeless at the time I read it, but regardless, it drew me in, and left me satisfied. And hopeful.

Hi, I'm Decibelle, a major fan of Marvel's comics, but also one with a slight soft spot for Superman's mythos. I particularly got into him after reading Grounded, though nothing takes the place of the Fantastic Four, for me. After the adventures of Richards and co, I'll check out X-Men, Deadpool, and the occasional volume of Ultimate Spider-Man.

And on the subject of the X-Men, I detest Hope Summers; character actually made me roll my eyes, frequently. Most obnoxious, utterly unrelatable character I've seen in a long time - and the sad part is, everything prior was so good. I loved the story of the 198! Don't get me started on that topic, to be frank. It's still a sore subject, and I'm tired of her continued existence... And on a similar note, my knowledge of continuity and canon is never really the best, but I do try. Honest.

I also work as a bartender, while training to be a police officer (hence my soft spot for Kal-El), and I occasionally write for my own interests.

The insanity angle is one of the best parts of Deadpool. I prefer it to some of the more inane elements, such as exploring his far-flung past. Typhoid Mary, though? Bring her back. Those original storylines defined Deadpool, and I miss 'em.
