Well, Mark Bagley is involved so that's a hook that will get me back.

What I agree with concerning Greg Land that G-Man pointed out is Land makes a lot of his characters, especially the females, look similar.  This picture isn't bad, actually, but Ms. Marvel and whom I believe is Mockingbird in the background, look identical.

I think someone stated he probably uses photographs of people and then traces over them?  I don't know if that's true.   Do you or does someone else have any info about that possibility?

Heck I've drawn plenty of female characters are a bit "saucy".    I don't mind it but even I make efforts to make the characters look different as people should be depicted.  Please look at my images in my profile for examples.

Man, this would rock!!  I loved that show so so much back in the day.  Wow, G-Man, you truly ARE a fan given you've met Willaim Katt and you have the DVD boxed set.  Fillion has some interesting ideas, actually, that sounds great.

Why not?  If they can make gawd-awful movies based on craptastic tv shows why not make a movie on a TV show that a lot of people actually LIKED and still have fond memories of?

Did you catch the choir in the hospital in the latest episode of Heroes singing "Believe It or Not?", the theme song to Greatest American Hero?  That's the second or third reference to GAH, with William Katt having made his cameo as the Enquirer type reporter who got his nads frozen.

Babs you said it best regarding some of the lesser quality comic book based movies:

"staying true to the original tale may not necessarily be the primary concern of movie producers."

Thor:  "Verily, I say unto thee knave, my trusty hammer Mjolnir's aim is true!!"

DeNiro as Travis Bickle from Taxi Driver:  "You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? Then who the hell else are you talkin' to? You talkin' to me? Well I'm the only one here. Who the fuck do you think you're talking to?"

ComicVine users have suggested a great choice--Hugo Weaving.    Great call!  His forehead, eyebrows, and lanky tall build--that IS Sinestro!  Plus he's done the bad guy thing before, give it to him instead --sorry Haley.

@PrinceIMC:  I didn't know he played the fawn characer in Pan's Labyrinth!  That was a great movie, as all the movies from Guillermo Del Toro I've seen have been.  I know a lot of people don't like subtitles, but man that movie just hits you between the eyes.   It wasn't what I was expecting but it was a good type of surprise.

Doug Jones played Abe Sapien so expertly, way beyond how I'd imagined he'd be when translated onto film from the comic.  As Silver Surfer, well, he was so CGI it just felt *blah*, but that wasn't his fault.  That'd be great I could def see him as Abin Sur in the Green Lantern movie (if it ever gets made).  I'd just love to have his lithe frame and build he reminds a bit of Anthony Daniels (C3-PO) from Star Wars.

@AirDave817:  I so agree with you.  I don't know why they chose to integrate that character at all, it doesn't make any sense.  I've also dropped JSA.

While I am familiar with a lot of the DC stuff I can only imagine how confusing and muddled this book must be to a new reader.  I still like JSA and this writer but I'm hard pressed to get back into it right now.  Drop Magog, kill him off I don't care.
