@micah:
So does that mean Superman always going to beat him? He does make up for the strength deficit with energy manipulation. Currently current Goku is as powerful as a 70% Beerus. Who even at that level is strong enough to destroy planets with a drop of his Ki, and compete with Whis in speed who is fast enough to not only casually zip through nebulas but also enter into hyperspace.
At this point, yes, and maybe Goku would get a power up again, and again, and again.
And maybe one day, he would win against the regular Superman.
People have asked them to do that many times. They won't do it and I don't know why. They could have used accurate info for Goku this time around to portray him how he should be and still show him loosing and I guarantee you half of the DBZ fanbase would be fine. Under Screwattacks supervision Goku and his verse come off as piss poor weak which is not the case. I want my favorite characters to be portrayed to their fullest ability not undercut.
I think that ScrewAttack just want to know who would win in a fight, and that is enough for them, that the premise of those videos, who wins in a fight x or y? They just research enough to know the answer, once they do they will work on the animation, which I think takes more time.
I've calced his strength using new and old examples before. Your right it can be done. You can do that as well. Which is where the 5,000 tons estimate before factoring in 10x gravity came from.
I am too lazy to do it, also I don't care.
@deadcool: I wasn't exactly referring to the battle itself as I refuse to give them anymore views. But in the past they have shown serious hate for dbz in general. Making them lose when they should have won. Plus the favoritism used in the battle like making Goku seem weak and using a composite superman. Plus don't get me started on how they made Toph seem way powerful.
Are you angry because Kirby defeated Boo?
Dude, get over it, I am sorry, but I don't think they hate anybody, Kirby won, Superman Won and Toph won in the fight against Gaara, because they do, these characters come from a whole diferent reality and trying to compare two different realities with different levels of violence, with different powerlevels, different logic, they are just different at everything.
In dragon ball, training in martial arts gives you the power to shoot power beams from your hands, and in DC we have a guy that trained in all the martial arts knows to men and he would never be able to shoot power beams, Kirby comes from a cartoon like universe compared to DBZ universe, Toph comes from a universe PG-13 and in the Naruto Universe the characters are allowed to kill.
Toph seemed powerful because she is powerful, Kirby defeated Boo because he has shown dumb overpowered feats and Superman defeats Goku because what seems powerful in DBZ is not that much in DC.
Trying to compare such universes is difficult, mainly because they work in different ways, so ScrewAttack tries to compare them using math, but having them fighting is dumb to begin with, their universes are so different that trying to compare them is really dumb, but they do it, because it is meant to be entertaining.
Although I don't care about the outcome, their reasoning and logic was so poor in that video that in matter of minutes Death Battle Superman became a meme on Comic Vine. Superman fans who say that Superman > Goku say that Superman was portrayed incorrectly, let alone the fact hardly anyone here actually considers Death Battle to be a credible source of information. I'm not saying Superman wouldn't beat Goku, but the whole thing was a mess and could've been argued far better than it could have.
What was wrong with Superman?
Why not? They used the right feats to know the outcome of the battle, thats what is important most of the time in the Battle Forums.
I actually liked the video a lot.
