it seems like EVERY issue of I, VAMPIRE is a game changer. Fialkov and Sorrentino deserve a raise or whatever passes as an equivalent to a raise. these guys are EFFIN awesome and the book too.

this art by quitely reminds me so much of the french comic book artist moebius. and i loved moebius.

not only is DC featuring MORE titles that have women as the titled character, even some of their VERTIGO lines are titled by female characters. one could say that FABLES is also written for women.

and, even their group titles like STORMWATCH, JL Dark, Suicide Squad, and Demon Knights are either headed by women, or play a very equal role in the story lines. you could say Animal Man is written for women as well, since the mother plays a very important part in the family.

and of course, World's Finest is coming up.

let's be realistic, when it comes to percentages, there are way more males reading comics than females. at least DC is ahead of the curve when it comes to catering to, or featuring females in their books.
