I would have to say a mortal father would be best. It would give her a connection to Man' s world and create an great storyline with her relationship with her father. I know people are going to complain about how she got her powers. She could of been granted them after winning the contest by the Gods.

Yep. They've been flirting around since the 70's KungFu Wonder Woman era. They've also been featured prominently in several Elseworlds and alt-reality tales as being together.
My favorite though will always be Matt Wagner's Trinity. I love how Bruce is just frozen when he first see how beautiful Diana is when he gets to paradise island.
Lol, he just walks up to her and she thoroughly hand him his ass,(shes never seen him before at this point) but he's still immediately in love.
Diana should have a love intrest because makes her relatable. Otherwise she is an over-the-top feminist. As for BM/WW relationship, I would satisified if they just did an Elseworld story where they get together at the end. And maybe have a kid and how he or she is grown up. They had like thirty SM and WW pairing stories why not the bat.
