I have no clue.  
Maybe she did it because she is just crazy?  
Bruce has had an abundance of crazy love interests.  
Take Talia for instance. She has got to be to most outrageous, but she does love him. 

Currently The Black Glove was mentioned in Batman and Robin #10. So my guess is that she is coming back soon. Actually, quite a few of Bruce’s love interests are coming back. Vicki Vale just appeared out of nowhere….Again. Boy is Bruce in trouble when he comes back.
