CAN WE GET AN OFFICIAL VETO ON SUPERMAN BEING A SUPER HERO.... this is something thats been bothering me for ages.... i hate superman....2 me.... its like this happened is.....

marvel comics was totally dominating the whole comic universe... so DC comics called for a board meeting... people are getting sacked unless they produce some character worth doing.... so they all think an brainstorm a load of super powers an put them all into 1 man... which is ridiculous....its like......

"ok, well we can give him the ability to fly...." "yer thats good... but fly faster than a speeding bullet..." "yer... oh.. an he can also run faster than a speeding bullet" "oh.. an make him bullet proof"... then "mmmm lets give him x-ray vision....and laser eyes!"... "can we give him cold breath aswel?.. or is that 2 much?"..."its never 2 much!!...give it him... also the ability to turn back time and time travel, by flying round the world really fast he can go back in time or into the future... oh yer... he can also... go to space... coz....... oh..... he is an alien!"

"oh wait... he must be indestructible... people will moan at that.." "mmm... good point... ok... there is... a substance... an alien substance... a crystal.... that he is allergic 2... it will kill him if consumed... or just in the general vicinity of... but coz its an alien substance nobody has got none..."

"mmmmm, now for a name.... mmmm.... what shall we call him, ... wait... i know.... he is a man... yes?... and he has super powers... yes?... lets call him.....Superman..." so fucking cheesy and pathetic....

DC comics are so unimaginable i hate DC!

as u can tell.... i have thought about this many times!! it jus gets me angry... its so fucking silly....

me, and Colin, the electric wizard regularly talk about this very pressing issue, and based on this superman theory we have created my own character's....

he has the special ability to do what ever he wants too just by thinking of it... he can create new worlds an civilizations with just thought alone!... he can never die... coz he isn't strictly alive..... he can do absolutely anything he thinks of.. he has every power u could possibly imagine

but wait... all is not lost he needs an enemy!!

you see just how easy it is to create a character with virtually no flaws..... and virtually every power.....its just a little unbelievable.... ok... the idea of a radio active spider biting some 1 and giving them super spider abilities is believable to me... i can deal with that... but superman just takes it too far... WHO AGREES?

i have recently purchased alot, and i mean a lot of 1972-1976 marvel comics, various different characters, mainly there are: spider-man, the titans, fantastic 4, and silver surfer. i also have a superman issue 1 collectors edition.

all very welcome editions to my extensive comic collection.

one thing that has pissed me off royally tho, i placed a bid on 70 1970 ghost rider comics and some marvel pocket books, but i put my maximum bid as £60 making sure that i got my fuckin comics!! the wining bid was £46!! but some reason i didn't win the bid! i am seriously fuckin annoyed.. eBay fucked up some how! this infuriated me.. has this happened to any1 else?
