@testament: Thanks man that would be awesome, I'm personal excited for the Netflix series. I hope it well have the hardboiled, pulp noir, dark gritty feel to it. That feel/vibe is what has me wanting to get into DD in the first place.

Which is something the great can do no wrong Mark Waid took away from the book. Now Samnee's Jetson's art is supposed to be the new dark and gritty.

@daredevil21134: I just some more images from the soon to end She-Hulk... as bad as Waid/Samnee. Were any of those appearances the "real" DD?

Nope,he acted almost wore than he did in Waid's run.

That's what I thought. They are so clear that the show will be really dark, that I cannot figure this out. I guess they could start an actual new series in May, but with so many teasers for other books already, and so much stuff about the show but not the book, it seems unlikely. It's just a question of whether the "funny" DD will stay around and confuse people.

I really wish I knew what was happening.

@daredevil21134: With Daredevil appearing everywhere I don't feel the need to support his book anymore. This is the only place online I can let my feelings about this run be known without getting hated on, every other comic site loves the run. I'll probably end up picking up the hardcovers in a few years when its 70% off.

I loved the Alternate Daredevil in the last Edge of Spider-Verse issue.

Yup,that's why I love this site.I don't understand why people have a hard time believing why some fans wouldn't like this run.Mark Waid himself said he was surprised how people accepted his run.He thought they would kill Foggy off in the next issue because of the change of tone.

81st ranked and below 30,000 in sales... it's more than some fans who don't like it, and from casual glancing online like I do, it looks like Waid is meandering with no idea what to do next. I didn't know about the Spider-verse story, more than I can keep up with. Otherwise, I don't see DD appearing everywhere... just the IM story which is SF based and compatible with Waid, even if Waid isn't paying attention. Totally sucks that a new run looks like at least a year away, with hiatus and a perfunctory mini-series all we can imagine for May. Waid has not only killed the DD book for his nearly 4 year run, but beyond it.

Well he is appearing in She-Hulk,he did appear in Wolverine and the X-men a couple issues back,he's schedule to appear in Hulk in January, and as we all know he appeared in Black Widow awhile back.So he has been appearing more so then usual lol. Also Spider-Verse as mentioned previously.

@daredevil21134: Lol damn bro your don't like Waid's DD run huh? I admit I'm not a fan of Waid's DD. I would rather see Scott Snyder or Rick Remender, someone to that regards.

I despise it.

@daredevil21134: DD sound like my kind of hero, I happen to think his powers are awesome. Along with his skill set, he sounds like a character who really has to overcome adversary. In more ways than one, I like the fact that he has a certain neighborhood he protects. His a shinobi was deals with hardboiled case, him being a lawery is pretty nice twist too. Also one of main love interest is Elektra, who one the hottest kunoichi I ever seen.

Yes,DD is quite the laddies man.But his greatest tragedy is what Marvel has allowed Mark Waid to do to him.

@daredevil21134: I have nothing good to say about those other versions other than they weren't quite this bad. I won't say anything bad about Stan Lee's though, because it seemed great when I was a kid, starting with a couple of Wally Wood/Bob Powell issues, and a lot of Colan issues. Good art can cover some of the worst stories, and the standards were different then.

I think it's so clear that the identity reveal was a mistake that it will end with essentially no explanation, not the first comics idea to do so. But it also seems like a completely new DD run is at least a year away.

I agree.

@daredevil21134: Thanks for the information bro , I always thought DD was awesome. But now I really want to get into the character.( Half of it has to do with me wanting expanded my Marvel collection outside of Spidey and 23.) How would you described Matt Murdock, like his personality, motives, desires. Just his character outline, with his abilities and fighting style. I can't wait for the TV series, I wish there was a video game with DD has the lead or key character.

He's a flawed man that does the best he can with what he has.He doesn't have the flashiest powers but he uses what he has to it's fullest potential. He grew up in a rough neighborhood, and his motives are to keep it as safe as possible. That's why being an Avenger will never work for him,nor should living in San Francisco.Daredevil's mission is to be the guardian devil of Hell's Kitchen, a city that has robbed him of his father, his sight, his loves, and everything else good that he had.Like Frank Miller said,he's generally a man that wants to do good and causes much damage. With the bad life he's had and continues to have, he should've been a villain but he's to stubborn to give in.He's like his dad, he never gives up.Batman life is a bed of roses compared to Daredevil's.

@qtmxd: Marvel knows Waid's DD is a circus,so there's no reason to take it seriously.

The IM series might actually make him look okay, but since it looks like a 12 issue series, I doubt if DD will be there for the duration. And you're probably right, the Waid book will fade out by April and then there'll be an easily produced mini-series to go with the show, followed in 2016 by a new noir series after all the other the-world-changed reboots that won't even bother to give a detailed explanation as to why he's back in Hell's Kitchen with his identity intact.

Sometimes it's hard to give stupidity an excuse. They should just ignore it,the tv show is showing what made DD great.Waid loves his Marv Wolfman Stan Lee stuff version.Though I have to say I enjoyed a lot of Stan Lee's DD for what is was.Waid's take is character regression. I even enjoyed Bob Gale,Karl Kessel and Joe Kelly's take more than Waid's
