For a long time DC characters made better movie characters, because the comic book characters were very simple and translated well to film. I know there are exceptions, but the Batman and Superman franchises speak for themselves... even if some of them were horrible. They are easy to script. Marvel has always had more complex characters with problems that everyone can relate to, so writing scripts for them is more difficult. If there are too many missed details, fanboys go insane. The other factor is, DC has had great success with individual films. If they can make a ton of money churning out decent individual films without having to spend more money to coordinate, why would DC drop extra millions on more scripts and delays and directors? The key is the old phrase "keep it simple, stupid".

After reading the build up and first couple of issues of AvX, I still don't know if Jean is returning. But, if anyone in the entire universe fit the requirements to constantly die and return, it is someone completely tied to th PHOENIX Force. So I still think the odds are likely.

Sceptical... yet optomistic. Also, haven't they fought each other 4 or 5 times already... and they were 4 issue type deals... and the battle was over by 2 issues. I have a feeling this might turn into another Deathmate ordeal - A lot of hype and let-down.

Marvel definitely has gone overboard with Deadpool. I think there are a lot of people (including folks at Marvel) that never got the whole joke about Deadpool - he's a parody... not a hero. He's been my favorite for years, because I got the joke... but I quit paying attention after the first full series. However, if they want to kill him, they are just going to make my collection more valuable. KILL AWAY!

I always have wanted to see this. I have absolutely no clue, but I always felt Grifter was kind of a clone made from Logan and Gambit.

Grifter is one bad mo-fo.

Oh I have the WILDC.A.T.S. The Lee versions are my era of comic book. Some sweet Sandman stuff too, along with the Crow. I don't remember Footloose 3. I am an in and out type person on comics. I might try to dig up some rare ones. I found a great Fantastic 4 where Galactus was dying, at this same store. Asked the owner straight up if he had it and he went and showed it to me and said how it was a great story. He peaked my interest in Darkhorse and Vertigo and Image and all the upoming publishers before they were well known (Of course i was 10 so anything new was awesome). That Fantastic 4 book is still one of my favs.

X-Men hands down. They have more people to pull from and a more experience. There is hardly anything the Titans could do that the X-Men couldn't counter 100 times as hard. Not that I will knock the Teen Titans for their balls-to-the -wall efforts. But... X-Men all the way.
