Anything's possible, though losing his mercenary background in lieu of being a news anchor seems like a huge backstep to me. It would mean he wouldn't have any weaponry/fighting knowledge and would not have amassed his fortune, both of which are key traits of the character.
Ok, so I finally read #7. I know you guys are going to disagree, but I think I'm bored of this series. The one-shots were a nice change, but now that we're 7 issues in, I was hoping for something more. Wood did end the issue with more of a hook than any of Ellis', so hopefully we'll start to get an actual story now and I can regain my enthusiasm.
Interesting article. It seems I'm not loving this new series as much as everyone else is, but despite that, I'm glad the series is doing well. It's certainly washed the bad taste of Bendis' run out of everyone's mouth.
