Nice to see some of the JMS stuff referenced, as that was my favorite run of Spider-Man. Though One More Day makes it kind of confusing what exactly happened during The Other storyline (because as we all know marriage and organic web shooters are just things that can't work in a superhero story).
everything happened the same way...he still had the powers from The Other and the organic web shooters but we don't know what happened to those powers....the only difference is that Peter and MJ never got married
I don't really care about this story but the "HYDRA isn't Nazi" argument is really weak. That is like saying, "This white supremacist group isn't the KKK so why are you mad?" The two groups embody similar philosophies and have been linked many many times.
As for the actual story, I think it has gotten a little annoying how frequently Marvel has gone for the shock value to cause uproar. The overreactions are probably exactly what Marvel was looking for, but whatever sells comics I guess.
except Hydra isn't a Nazi group....they could care less about Jewish people...heck they probably have Jewish people in their ranks....they aren't a race supremacist group
Hydra's origins date back to ancient Egypt and they may have tied into the Nazis for a while but only as a way to push their own goals
you could say that they have similar philosophies but that doesn't make Hydra into Nazis...that's like saying that AIM or the Hand are Nazis to
Comic publishers schedule releases in four-week cycles, releasing on a particular day of the week (e.g., every Wednesday). On an occasion that a month has more than four weeks (i.e., a fifth Wednesday), publishers often sell unusual comics to fill in the scheduling gap.
Whoops. Last week Gwenpool had to get Doctor Strange to magic up some social security documentation, because she didn't exist due to being non-native to Earth-616. Looks like Miles is in the same boat! Molecule Man didn't integrate him properly, apparently. Better call Iron Man, Spidey.
they say in the preview that SHIELD made it so that no one could run his I.D.
the only problem that I'm having with this Rebirth is that if Barry and Wally both know that someone deliberately messed with the timeline and that resulted in them losing friends, loved ones, heck Wally lost his kids then why aren't they immediately telling everyone? Why aren't they actively trying to fix this? You would think that they would do everything in their power to get their families back
But why can't he be Superman we've seen his origin we've seen that he was born on Krypton to Jor-El and Laura and we've seen him put in a rocket to escape it being destroyed and we've seen him raised by the Kents they can't retcon that we've seen his life plus it's not that hard to understand there are two versions of Lois Lane and Hal Jordan plus eradicator already died back in the Pre New 52 Universe.
they've also hinted heavily that he's not what he seems
