  • --read the first two Issues, pretty cool so far!

    Looking forward to next Issue!

"The book is "Empire of the Dead," a 15-issue series written by Romero and illustrated by acclaimed "Daredevil" and "Scarlet" artist Alex Maleev, with covers from go-to zombie illustrator Arthur Suydam. Announced earlier this month and first discussed by Romero a year ago, the book doesn't involve any existing Marvel characters, but rather a story in the director's tradition of social commentary told through zombie mayhem."

  • --not started yet, seems like it may be good?

"Haunt stars brothers Kurt and Daniel Kilgore, siblings who have not gotten along in quite some time, but now must work together after government agent Kurt was murdered and somehow transformed into a ghostly suit worn by his brother, Daniel. To say their relationships has changed would be an understatement, but after 18 issues of running around at top speed while trying to face the immediate problems of their new life, the brothers are in for a huge surprise as the people they thought were allies have disappeared."

"When it was announced that Joe Casey and Nathan Fox would be taking over for Robert Kirkman and Greg Capullo on Image Comics' "Haunt," the news was surprising to some. But Todd McFarlane -- who spoke with CBR News about the switch last month -- doesn't like stopping and relaunching books just to release a new #1 issue. Instead, he likes to keep them going, which is why when faced with the need for a new team to tackle the supernatural black ops agent, he enlisted Casey and Fox to keep the ball rolling."

  • --Read up to Issue 133

    --Great Series!

"The Walking Dead is an ongoing black-and-white American comic book series written by Robert Kirkman. It chronicles the travels of Rick Grimes, his family and other survivors of a zombie apocalypse"

  • "They were genetically engineered to be super-human weapons of mass destruction, but now they must walk amongst the people they were created to destroy. Ebony Hide is one of them, an Elephantman. Even when he is befriended by a small girl, Hide is still haunted by his past and is forced to recognize that suspicion and contempt will always be his constant companions."

  • Great! very funny, check it out!

"Suzie, a librarian, and Jon, an actor, meet at a party and, after sleeping together, discover they share the ability to freeze time when they orgasm. As their relationship develops and their sexual histories are explored, they decide to rob the bank where Jon works in order to save Suzie's endangered library."

"n March 2013, Image Comics announced a sex comedy during the Emerald City Comicon.[1] Later reports confirmed that it was intended for mature readers and will have Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky in the forefront. Films like The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Bridesmaids, and Jackass: The Movie were referenced as touchstones for the comics, and Fraction himself confirmed in an interview that the works of Billy Wilder also inspired him deeply in writing.[2]"

"Sex Criminals opened to universal acclaim. Melissa Grey of IGN tagged the work as Amazing. She said "At its heart -- at least in the past two issues -- it's a coming of age story (no pun intended, but we're going to roll with it), and one that's so addictive, you'll find yourself staring at the last page in horror when you realize you'll have to wait another month to find out what happens next""

  • I Like it! *thumbs up!

"In a dystopian near-future, government is a quaint concept, resources are coveted, and possession is 100% of the law. A handful of Families rule, jealously guarding what they have and exploiting the Waste who struggle to survive in their domains. Forever Carlyle defends her family's holdings through deception and force as their protector, their Lazarus. Shot dead defending the family home, Forever's day goes downhill from there..."

  • --taking me a while to get into this one, *still undecided!

"SCIENCE IS THE NEW ROCK 'N' ROLL!"

"So said Dade Ellis, Simon Grimshaw, Emerson Strange, and Thomas Walker at the dawn of a new age of enlightenment that ushered in a boom in scientific advancement. As the research supergroup World Corp., they became the most celebrated scientists of all time.

They changed the world - and we loved them for it.

But where did it all go wrong?

And when progress is made at any and all cost, who ultimately pays the price?"

  • "Neil Gaiman's The Sandman was launched in 1989. This extremely popular series was bound into ten collections. Following Dream of the Endless, also known as Morpheus, Onieros and many other names, we explore a magical world filled with stories both horrific and beautiful.

What do you need to know to enjoy the series? Only that there are seven brothers and sisters who have been since the beginning of time, the Endless. They are Destiny, Death, Dream, Desire, Despair, Delirium who was once Delight, and Destruction who turned his back on his duties. Their names describe their function and the realms that they are in charge of. Several years ago, a coven of wizards attempted to end death by taking Death captive, but captured Dream instead. When he finally escapes he must face the changes that have gone on in his realm, and the changes in himself."
