Woah. Never even occurred to me that I could be quoted in an article. I would have been a little more detailed had I realized, but at this point I was kind of sick of defending the movie. Very cool though. 5 seconds of fame while people read the quote. :)

Wonder-Woman gets casted everyone goes crazy,Gambit gets casted everyone loves it.

And by 'everyone' you mean 'a very small handful of people.' Sure doesn't look like it's getting a good response to me.

Anyway, I don't see it. Admittedly I've had very very little exposure to his acting, but I don't see Gambit in him and I don't see what was wrong with the last guy. I'll give him a fair shot, but I'm not excited about it.

TASM2 > TASM > SM2 > SM > SM3.

Best acting by far. Most emotionally invested story. Feels the most like a comic book on screen I've ever seen (possibly more so than The Avengers). I have mixed feelings on the soundtrack. I'll have to reserve that for a second viewing. Others have complaints that it spends too much time setting up the future instead of being it's own movie, but from my perspective it doesn't get any more comic book than that. Until recently I had recalled SM1&2 still being great movies despite my preferring TASM and hating Tobey and Dunst, but I just rewatched them last week and realized that it was nostalgia talking and SM was awful, and SM2 was a good deal better but still loaded with problems and has reached the point of not quite holding up anymore.

Has there been any word on the general length of a Marvel Netflix episode? I'm wondering if we should be expecting I'm excited for any amount of this content, but we could be expecting anywhere from 260 minutes to 650 minutes of each show.

Superior is... well... superior. I started reading his run somewhere near Spider-Island, and I was getting only a minimal enjoyment out of it mostly, and while I was looking forward to Superior, I was terribly disappointed that I didn't feel any kind of emotional resonance from Peter's 'death' the way that I did with Ultimate. Superior however, I have absolutely loved.

EDIT: The responses above that criticize it for no reason other than 'how dare you try something different' are one of the reasons I've loved it. Slott knew he was going to piss people off and decided he didn't care because an interesting story is more important than a comfortable story.

Am I the only one who thinks Peter should really reevaluate his reltionships with his personal friends, family and fellow super heroes? How absolutely no one (aside from Carly) helped him get his body back or figured out that someone was parading around in his flesh? How much time he spent fighting side by side and going undercover with Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Jessica Drew, Clint Barton, Logan, etc. and they all basically said "f%!k Peter, he's a jerk". I'd be livid and sad that I have such crappy allies.

This would actually make a great plot point. He should be offended that nobody went beyond a minor suspicion.

Ugh. New writer for Spider-man. Please. Slott has been about as stale as old bread since before Superior Spider-man and has been churning out stories entirely bereft of any sort of satisfying climax for a good while now.

Most people that actually gave it a chance instead of putting their hands over there ears and shouting "oh, no! The status quo!" actually enjoyed it. I have to admit, I jumped into modern Spider-Man comics (anything later than the 90's) around 660 to 670 roundabouts and I was not enjoying most of it, but I loved Superior.

I'm not actually sure this is necessary. The story of the first one sucked (the comics are great though, possibly the second best thing to happen since New 52 right behind Batman, maybe even tied), so without looking forward to a new story I feel like they may as well just keep DLCing the old game. I understand that doesn't make the same cash though, so I don't blame them.

See I like the deadpool shirt but a couple weeks ago some guy wearing walks up to & says, "Ugh a batman shirt, really? What a cliche." So I said, "Deadpool huh? First appearance, go." Idiot just stood there with this blank look on his face, it just seems that for some odd reason all the people who pretend to know about comics gravitate towards Deadpool, & it annoys the crap out of me. I actually own that shirt but won't wear it again after that day.

So you don't know anything about a character if you don't know his first appearance? My experience with Deadpool thus far has been through his first two solo mini series, four or five mini series from Bunn (however many he's at now), the entirety of his current ongoing, a good chunk of Way's ongoing, both Max minis, appearances in three video games (one of which being his own), and a good number of appearances in some Wolverine and Spider-Man comics. However, I haven't read his original appearance in X-Force, so I guess that aaaall goes out the window and I shouldn't wear my Deadpool shirt because I don't have enough geek cred. I can't even tell you what issue it was. I'm suuuch an idiot loser, amirite?

Oh, man. This might be the most difficult match up for me so far (not counting ones where I haven't read both runs). Right now I'm leaning Spidey, but since I just renewed my Marvel Unlimited account (everyone should try it. You can get the first month for a dollar right now using promo code 'thor2mu'.) I'll use this opportunity to read some 60's X-Men over again.
