I love Stephanie Brown as Batgirl.  I liked Cassandra for the first 20 or so issues of her series, but then it all started getting pretty stale for my taste.  Stephanie brings something fresh and interesting to the mantle, and I love watching her grow into the role.  In my opinion, Stephanie better represents what it means to be Batgirl.

Based on fighting skills, Silver Sable would mop the floor with Ronin.  She's an extraordinary martial artist, one of the top in the Marvel Universe.   If you need "facts" then compare their entries in the "Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe".  Silver Sable can be found in the 2005 Women of Marvel, while Ronin is in "The Mighty Avengers: Most Wanted Files".  Silver Sable has a Fighting Skill rank of 6 compared to Ronin's rank of 4.  I didn't read the issue where Black Cat beat her in a fight, but if that's the case it's disappointing to hear the writer downplay her skills like that.  Then again it's not terribly surprising, since the more popular character usually wins a fight in a comic, despite differences in skill levels.

I've spent the past several days playing around with the character power battles, but I've noticed that the literally hundreds (maybe even thousands) of matches I've had haven't affected the Battle Stats ranking.  It's particularly obvious on some of the lesser known characters who haven't yet participated in any battles.  If I battle a character, it'll update in the "Wins most against" column, but the "Rank by Power" column still shows no battles.

Huh? The powers are hers. Spider-Man got his powers from a radioactive spider. Wonder Woman got her powers from the Olympian gods. Her powers are just as much hers as Spider-Man's are his.
