An event that actually lived up to hype. 0

Cyclops takes a team of X-Men to Cooperstown Alaska and finds the place in flames. They come across several dead bodies and realize a battle took place between Mr. Sinister's group called the Marauders, and the mutant killing organization the Purifiers. Battle with the ultimate mutant-killer. 0

William Stryker and the Purifiers took their hatred straight to the X-Mansion which resulted in a brutal, bloody war. In the end, Stryker was killed by Elixir and the Purifiers retreated. The X-Men continue to notify the parents of the dead children plus move on with the burials.
