Wishlist 2.0

I had a wishlist before, but that one wasn't really clear for me anymore. So I thought it was time to make a new one. So here we go!

I have to keep in mind... I need to get the other stuff I've got up to date before I start something new. I keep telling myself that, though. It's hard to keep that promise. Really hard : (

List items

  • I put the New 52 Constantine on my pull-list at my comic store, since everybody seems to like the series (old and new), I like dark stories (loving the hell out of Swamp Thing, New 52 version and Alan Moore's) and did like the preview of the first New 52 issue. Sadly, the first issue hasn't arrived yet. It got stuck in America or something like that. But if I like it enough, I might get the older stories too.

  • I liked the first issue,Jeff Lemire's writing and the fact that this is quite a dark story too. Also, the crossover and link it has to Swamp Thing really is interesting!

  • Same reason as Animal Man and Hellblazer. Dark setting, interesting characters, etc. No need to say more.

  • Somebody at another comic store showed me this. I didn't really want to buy something new back then, but they concept is still stuck in my mind. Has to wait, though!

  • I've grown quite fond about Green Lantern, Flash and Aquaman over the last few months. I'd like to see how they work togehter, and the other Justice League book that just started (the Justice League to protect people from the Justice League, or something like that..?) sounds quite interesting! So...

  • ..there they are! Since this team also has Green Lantern, and Green Arrow... Also intersting!

  • I like the setting this comic has. The old, Western themed Gotham City. It's something different and I think that's a nice change.

  • This character also seems very nice. Once Robin, now on his own. Nothing much to explain, I think.

  • I just love the covers. The art looks really nice too, and the sense of humor it has appeals to me.
