I don't understand how this is a question - they get along great.

It was Cyclops who trusted Cable to protect baby Hope during the Messiah/Second Coming events. I'd venture to say he trusts his son more than anyone else on the planet. He dropped in on him when Cable and his team were getting that alien off the planet in Cable & X-Force not to chastise him, but to just check to see how he was doing - and Cable appreciated it.

They have a great relationship. Of course they could work on the same team.

Amus planned on Gambit leading a Marvel heist team. I'm so hype and disappointed at the same time.

So opening this discussion up to Marvel characters and not just X-Men, who do you go with?

Obviously you start with...

Then I still use Fence...

But then who?

Scarlet Spider? Moon Knight?

I still like my original team, but in the spirit of adding non X-Men... this is gonna take a bit of thought.

Unless it's based on the modern-style hitsquad X-Force, then all it'll be is an R-rated X-Men movie.

@ctg: Homophobe is a person that have a problem with homossexuality, Plain and simply. You don't agree with homossexuality? Great. But for me is like not agreeing with the Rain or the blue color of the sky. It is childish, inapropriate and also prety useless.

For the record. You want to have your opinion about other people sexuality? Fine by me. Well the interesting news: I also have an opinion about your opinion, IT SUCKS! And I also have an opinion about your behavior I think it's homophobic.

By the way, am I entitled to my opinion? That you are a homophobe? Or only you have the right to say anything you want?

Here's the difference - I've never once said anyone was not entitled to their opinion. However, the pro-gay community are the ones who jump down the throats of any who disagree w/ them.

No one called homosexuals a derogatory term here. That's you throwing around those types of terms. HAWK and myself made simple statements and look what it turned into. The reason? B/c the vast majority of the pro-gay community ask for people to respect their opinions, yet refuse to act in the same manner.

I don't know why you're pro-gay. I don't even care - yet I haven't went and called your opinion useless or childish just b/c I don't agree w/ it. See the difference?

It's alright to disagree - it's how you go about that disagreement that defines you and to an extent your cause. You've handled it in a very immature manner and I have nothing less to say to you. Learn to disagree like a mature adult and perhaps we can have a conversation.

And for the record, that's NOT what homophobia means. Being a homophobe means having an irrational hate, bigotry, or fear of homosexuals. Disagreeing w/ the lifestyle is not in itself homophobic. Thus, before anyone starts throwing that term around in the future, you better find out why the person you're speaking w/ has a disagreement.

And what exactly is a homophobe? Someone who doesn't agree w/ homosexuality?

What is there to disagree with about?

Either you are gay or you're not; and if you're not, how does it concern you enough to have an opinion against? And what entitles you to that opinion?

The same thing that non-homosexuals support it. Not everyone whose pro-gay is a homosexual. So by your analysis, they have no right to support the cause correct?

Like it or not everyone has an opinion on it and trying to dismiss the opinion b/c you feel someone doesn't have a right to have one is just dumb and quite frankly I thought a lot more of you before this conversation. Not b/c you support homosexuality, but b/c you choose to shut out those who have an opposite opinion w/ horrible logic that can only stem from the same type of intolerance the pro-gay community accuse anti-gay people of having.

I was going to say: "Homophobes in this thread in 3...2...1" too slow, they are already here.

And what exactly is a homophobe? Someone who doesn't agree w/ homosexuality?

The majority of people who throw that term around are inherently hypocrites. They want people to have an open mind and respect others, yet they themselves simultaneously doing the exact opposite.

Similarly, I don't think who other people fall in love with or have sex with is any of my business, so I feel like it isn't anyone else's either. But for people who have been socially marginalized for this, or had other negative experiences with it, I would defer to their opinions. I guess, besides not understanding your opinion, I can't help but wonder what your point was by posting it.

That really makes no sense.

Up front: I'm against homosexuality - let's just get that out of the way.

What you're saying is that I'm not entitled to have that opinion b/c I'm not gay or have never had a gay encounter to form that negative opinion.

Wow.

@killemall: Probably not. Of that group, only Thanos interests me and I'm getting plenty w/ Thanos Rising and the upcoming Infinity.

My picks: Iron Fist, Cyclops, Dr. Strange, Magik, Valkyrie, Rachel Summers, Hope

Phoenix Force Investigations - they'd investigate and try to understand Phoenix Force events throughout the galaxy from different perspectives Iron Fist has a direct mystical connection to it (as seen in AvX), Dr. Strange gives another mystical viewpoint while Valkyrie has a unique view from her Asgardian roots. Cyclops, Rachel and Hope obviously all have their connections as well.

Bit of a nitpick, but I don't think one can say either speech was "better". They were both well written, it's just some will disagree with one and some w/ the other.

Anyhoo, both UXM and ANXM were amazing this week. I have to re-read both, but thoroughly enjoyed my initial read.

W/ all the result of AoU, it's nice to see Bendis even pushing the stress on the space-time continuum w/ Magik going back in time to consult w/ Dr. Strange.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Goldballs head to the JGS after their Hellfire Club arc. I've said from the start he seemed more like a character that came from Aaron's mind rather than Bendis'.
