I just missed the GI Joe train, but I still remember having fun with the toys as a kid. After seeing some heady stuff in theaters last year (Cloud Atlas, Lincoln, Les Miserables, Breaking Dawn 2), I'm due for something like this.
I have nostalgia for the old cartoon and movies, loved the new TMNT movie, and loved the last cartoon series. If this turns out to be silly, well... it'll be something for me and my nephews to just sit back and just enjoy (and something for me to forget about if it sucks). No rage here!
My concern is that even if he kills The Joker and Batman has to deal with the repercussions... how long before The Joker just gets resurrected?
As great as it would be to see Bats off Joker, there's always gonna be that lingering thought of "well, he'll have to come back eventually" that may diminish the impact to the reader (although the change it could cause in Batman would sure be an interesting thing to explore).
since now we know that Han Solo would appear as an old man, i wonder where will they base the story of episode VII.
An old man? Spoilers.
Anyway, I'm going through the original trilogy and hot damn, Han adds so much color to the movies. Every scene with him and Leia in Empire just puts a smile on your face.
Hopefully Han can have a similar role to Ben Kenobi after he rescues Luke in ep. IV. Just an older guy looking out to nothing and reminiscing about the past.
I'm intrigued by the classic Power Rangers stuff, but I'm even more intrigued in the Heisenberg figure (the coat/hat combo one). The Didact also looks neat.
