Deadpool the video game review

This review will not feature any spoilers.

No Caption Provided

Deadpool the game is an M rated action adventure game and yes he realizes he's in a video game. The gameplay is pretty good. You can perform head shots, sneak attacks, and slash off body parts. The combos are good. There's a decent amount of weapons but there is a great amount of upgrades. The jokes range from very funny to cheesy but you'll definitely get a large amount of laughs. The story line is okay, nothing special. The game is more about the laughs than story. The X-Men cameos are cool, they don't take away from the fact it's a Deadpool game. The game itself I thought was too short. You can beat the campaign and the challenges in a day. Wasn't that difficult. The trophies/achievements are fairly easy to get. Overall the game is enjoyable but still just an average game. I would give it 3.5 out of 5.

Using comics to inspire cancer patients and fund research

No Caption Provided

I was thinking about this the other day, what if Marvel or DC or etc ever started a charity for cancer research using comics. Maybe they donate a percentage of comics purchases or start a fundraiser. Also they could create or use an existing hero to be an inspiration for kids or adults fighting this disease by having the hero fight the disease as well. Having the character break the 4th wall and telling the reader something along the lines of we can beat this together. For example my family used Wonder Woman to inspire my Aunt to get better from Leukemia. Calling her Wonder Woman and saying she's as tough as her and she can beat this. It really did motivate her to get better. DC could use a character that hasn't made an appearance in the New 52 yet such as Cassandra Cain or even Stephanie Brown and have either one become Oracle as they get better. Marvel could always use Iron man since he is extremely popular lately and also he doesn't have super powers. Just something especially for the children to show them that they can beat cancer. Hopefully one day we'll see something like this cause it's for a good cause.

Not a fan of Mr. Freeze's new origin

No Caption Provided

Since Batman Annual #1 came out, I really haven't been a fan of Freeze's new origin. Before the New 52, Mr. Freeze was one of the only villains you could feel sorry for. His wife Nora contracted an incurable disease and was frozen until Freeze could come up with a cure. An incident occurred while he was trying to create a cure which turned Victor into Mr. Freeze. Most of the crimes he would commit would be for her. Whether it was to get money or something he needed to save Nora. His tragic origin was so good, when he appeared on Batman The Animated Series. It won an Emmy Award for outstanding writing in an animated show.

When the New 52 origin for Freeze came out, DC made it that now Nora was never his wife. She actually never even met Victor. She is a woman from 1943 named Nora Fields. So basically Freeze fell in love with a frozen woman he has never met and which he made up in his head to be his wife..........kind of creepy isn't it? They took the one thing he dedicated his life too and turned it into a form of delusion. I've been debating whether or not I can still fell sorry for him but I really just can't. Maybe I can feel sorry for him that they changed his origin haha. I'm just not a fan of it. I kind of wish they would change it back to the pre 52 one, but I doubt that'll happen anytime soon.

What if Boba Fett hunted down Marvel characters

Since Disney owns Star Wars and Marvel I started thinking what if Boba Fett some how visited the Marvel Universe and started taking bounties on Marvel characters? And what characters would he be able to take down if he got the jump on them. First I was thinking :

No Caption Provided

Captain America- I don't think Fett would get the jump on Cap but I think eventually his futuristic blasters and gear would be too much for Cap to handle. Fett wins

Iron Man- Fett could get the jump on him but Tony would easly over power Fett. Fett loses

Spider-man - Peter's spider sense prevents any sneak attack from Fett. They're both very skilled but eventually BOOM HEADSHOT Spider-man down. Fett wins

Hulk/ Red Hulk- If Fett was smart he wouldn't even bother. Fett don't think about it

Wolverine/Deadpool- I think Fett can sneak attack the both of them but their healing factor would be too much for him to handle. Fett loses

Magneto- Fett shots him. Magneto crushes Fett's helmet......Not pretty. Fett loses

Punisher- Headshot, Rocket Blast, Flamethrower. You name it Punisher goes down. Fett wins

No Caption Provided

Dr. Doom- This ones a toss up. It really could go either way. Tie

Hawkeye- He would see Fett coming a mile away and would continue keep distance until Fett goes down. Fett loses

As much of a BA Boba Fett is I still think there is a good portion of Marvel characters he wouldn't be able to beat. I only listed a few but I wanna hear what you guys think of the characters I listed and tell me who you think he can and can't beat.

Should any of these characters make an appearance in the show Arrow?

In a few weeks Arrow season one will come to an end. So I started thinking which characters I would like to see in future seasons.

No Caption Provided

First I was thinking Grifter (no powers of course). It's been said that Deathstroke is going to eventually make an appearance in Starling City. So why not have him command a squad with Grifter being a member of it. Something like a Team 7.

No Caption Provided

Next I was thinking The Riddler. Ollie did go up against The Riddler in Green Arrow volume 2 issue 35. Maybe have him come to Starling City placing bombs in certain locations and riddles on where they could be. Holding the city for ransom and having Felicity and Ollie track down the bombs but have Riddler escape for future episodes. Or even have The Riddler instead come to Starling wanting to figure out who The Hood is and somehow traping Ollie finding out who is. Then selling Riddles that could expose him to newspapers and Ollie has to stop him before he can.

The third character I'd like to see is Thomas Wayne Batman. Now I know what you're thinking, Why not Bruce? Well this version of Green Arrow doesn't mind if someone dies and Thomas Wayne didn't care either. Yeah you could make Bruce a killer but it would be too weird seeing that. Also having Thomas be Batman would make an awesome twist to the story. Possibly have him come in to help take down Riddler.

Those are my choices, what do you guys think about them and what other characters would you like to see?

If Cyclops' parents were still alive, how would they view him now as a person?

No Caption Provided

Cyclops is one of the sons of Katherine and Christopher "Corsair" Summers. His parents were presumed dead after a plane crashed, but it wasn't till years later that Cyclops found out that his father was still alive. Their plane had been attacked by a scout ship of the Shi'ar Empire and Kathrine was killed in front of Corsair. Corsair escaped and becoming a member of the space pirate group The Starjammers. Corsair was later on killed by his third son Gabriel aka Vulcan.

Cyclops throughout his superhero career was the fearless leader of The X-Men and as well formed the group X-Factor. He was a role model leader, a boy scout you could say. He had made some mistakes such as when the news of Jean being alive came out. He did in fact leave his wife at the time Madelyne and his baby son Christopher to find Jean. Even thou he did that and a couple of other questionable things, he was still your typical good guy. It wasn't until his merger with Apocalypse was where his personality started to change.

When he returned from being presumed dead, he became even more serious than what he once was. His personality got some what darker. He started questioning things in his life. His marriage to Jean and some friendships started to become strained. Cyclops started to push his wife away even after she started showing signs of The Phoenix Force manifesting again. He went to Emma Frost for help. They began a telepathic affair (Emma's plan all along). When Jean found out, he told her to read his mind. To prove to her that it was only mental, not physical. When Jean started to die (Magneto's fault) Cyclops apologized to her for what he had done. He really truly did love Jean with all his heart. After being told to live (live your life) by Jean. Cyclops moved on with his life and started dating Emma Frost. A number of X-Men were not happy with this and thought it was insulting to the memory of Jean.

After the events of House of M and during Messiah Complex story line Cyclops started thinking like Magneto. The kill them first before they kill us way of thinking. He reformed the group X-Force to kill their enemies before they could come after the mutants. During Second Coming, Cyclops sent his son and X-Force on what looked like a suicide mission. After he took responsibility for X-Force and disbanded them.

When The Avenger came to Utopia to take Hope Summers into custody because they feared The Phoenix was coming for her. Cyclops believed that The Avengers were never there for the mutate community and that The Phoenix could help restore the mutate population. War broke out and Cyclops along with 4 other X-Men gained the power of The Phoenix. He lead The Phoenix Five to make the world a better place. Providing resources to everyone and outlawing war. Basically becoming ruler of the world. The Avengers hide Hope from Cyclops which made him fear that they would use her against him. He declared "No More Avengers" but ordered that they were not to be harmed. When the other lost their Phoenix powers it went to Cyclops. The power was too much for him to handle and he became The Dark Phoenix. It influenced him to kill his mentor Charles Xavier.

Cyclops was sent to prison were he met a mutate named Jake. When Jake was killed he order Magik to sent them to Limbo. Basically to their deaths. Cyclops formed a new group of X-Men with Magneto part of the group. Cyclops and Magneto both share the same idea that a battle is coming and the mutates should prepare but Magneto shown signs that he think Cyclops has gone too far. Too extreme for Magneto is really saying something. Not being part of Wolverine's X-Men and even thou they think Cyclops is crazy he has told them that he will protect them no matter what but that they should start preparing for war. With all that being said my opinion is that if Cyclops' parents were alive to see what he has done and become. I think that they would believe that there is still a good person inside of him, but because of certain situations he has headed down the very wrong path. And needs guidance to bring him back to the person he used to be. But that's my opinion, what's yours?

Barry Allen should be a permanent Blue Lantern

No Caption Provided

I'm not much of a fan of The Flash but when I saw him turn into a Blue Lantern during Blackest Night, I became a huge fan of BL Flash. So I did a little research on Barry Allen. During the Crisis On Infinite Earths storyline, Barry sacrificed his life to destroy Anti-Monitor's anti matter cannon by running around it at an unbelievable level of speed. Destroying the other casing of the cannon causing it to explode. As he was destroying the cannon he said a memorable quote " Th-There's hope... There is always hope... Time to save the world! Time... Back in time... Do what you have to... we must save the world... ...we must save the world...". Barry was able to bring such a great amount of hope into what looked like a no win situation. Barry was later on seen in Infinite Crisis emerging from The Speed Force to help his grandson Bart and in Final Crisis with a plan to take out Darkseid. After his rebirth The Blackest Night arc came out. This is where he was given a power ring of hope from The Blue Lantern Corps. He instilled hope on the battlefield but sadly the ring only lasted on his finger for 24 hours.

Best of my knowledge there isn't a Blue Lantern in space sector 2814 (Earth), but I think Barry is the best candidate for Blue Lantern of Earth. You could argue Kyle Rayner but I think Barry has shown and would give others around him more hope than Kyle. Having him as a Blue Lantern would open up a couple of opportunities for DC comics. They could come out with a series that has a team up of GL Hal Jordan and BL Barry Allen. That team up would be incredible. Also they could use Barry becoming a BL to bring back Wally West as The Flash. Since the New 52 came out people have been dying for Wally to come back or atleast know what happened to him. But this is why I believe Barry Allen should be the permanent Blue Lantern of space sector 2814.

How hasn't Gotham City Child Services looked into Batman/Bruce Wayne?

No Caption Provided

Throughout Batman's career there has been three Robin deaths. Granted two of them came back to life after a period of time; but how hasn't Child Services looked into Bruce Wayne or even contacted the G.C.P.D about investigating Batman? Now we all know Gotham City is probably the worst city in the DC universe but you're telling me not one of their employees said anything about the number of deaths? Child Services could investigate Batman for putting children/teenager's lives in danger. He brings them out at night putting them in harms way to fight gunmen and psychotic killers. Do I need to say more? Which leads me to Batman's secret identity Bruce Wayne. They could investigate him for two of the three deaths, Jason Todd and Damian Wayne. With Jason, he could've came up with a story to hide the fact he was killed by The Joker. But with his son Damian, another child under the care of Bruce Wayne who has died. It should've started some suspicions and questions. Hmmmmm Damian and Robin are the same size. Both died on the same day. The same Batman and Robin Bruce Wayne funds. Where's Vicky Vale when you need her. With the death of Damian being recent and extremely sad (hoping he comes back soon) it could be an interesting arc about how Child Services start looking into Bruce. Which leads the G.C.P.D to start investigating him and Bruce trying to hide the fact he is Batman and Damian was Robin. I feel like The Riddler would fit this very well. But back to the main topic, how haven't they looked into him? Seriously Gotham City Child Services start doing your job.
