My question is... who is in the containment canister he is holding? Could that be Johnny? I cannot wait to see how this story works out.

I understand that it is accepted now, but WHY is Steve Rogers referred to as Commander?  Last I checked he was Army and not Navy.  I could understant Colonel America or Rogers, but Commander makes no sense.  Any of you have scans or such explaining this?

I do hope that they wait a year for her to get her powers.  GROW her as a DC character and then expand on the personality.  It also allows for other opportunity for the Gen13 kids to show up in the stories (background  characters not named but just shown or shadow images).

IF they continue with the Gen Factor then her abilities need to be activated and that could be anything.  I hope that NOWHERE is the new IO and they use them as the training ground for the next generation of heroes/villians.  Perhaps others will show up such as DV8s?

Bad Idea?  NO.  Flawed?  YES.  BUT flawed int that is shows some honesty in the world that Marvel uses.  Think of the Avengers.  You are telling me that Ben Grim and Peter Parker are constantly available to the whims of Steve Rogers?  I really do not buy that.  This allows for a rotating roster of characters.  Perhaps they should have a 'roster of heroes' and then the issues can revolve around those and 'reservist' that are brought in on occasion due to a 'need'.

Another reason that the 'for hire' part works is people need things.  It may not be monetary, but there are needs.  Peter needs an alibi for work?  He has someone with in the network sets him up with a plausible alibi.  Elektra needs info concerning taking down a ring of human traffickers?  Someone within the network helps her out (by passing on the info thru control).  A hero is short on funds?  Then HfH sets them up with some sort of low profile work for pay (bodyguarding Paris Hilton or some such).

The premise works, but perhaps the execution is flawed from the writers.

I really do not see either of these females working in a relationship with Jason.

Harley is just too wrapped up in the Joker and when she is not wrapped up in him she has little to do with men at large.

Huntress depends on the version that you mean.  I assume (forgive me) that you are referring to the one that exists now.  As she is so much like Bruce and Jason (Brooding, Dark and Violent) I do not see her going for Jason.  She sees in him what could happen to her if she did not follow the Bat and his way of life like a religion.  Every time Helena steps away from the Bat... she faulters.

I could possibly see Poison Ivy.  I could really see it with Artemis (Amazon).  The reason I see either of these women is that they skirt the line between good and bad and live a violent yet passionate life.

I have to say that the size discrepancy is disturbing.  Also the size and apparent age difference does not take into account Jason Todd... and we know he still exists Red Hood and the Outlaws.

I would think that Dick should almost be eye level with Bruce but with a slimmer build (taking into account his accrobatic nature).  And Tim should be closer to chin level with Bruce and possibly sporting a thicker build than Dick (but not as large as Jason is drawn).  Damian is the only one that appears to be close to proper size in relations to Bruce (and we all know this will change quickly in the comics).

Cannot wait to get home and read this issue.   The new 52 have rekindled my comic love.

In that case I would have to go with my favorites here and say that the Bat Family takes the win.  Without this ability, i would have to say that Mr X had the advantage.  The other fights are not so close.  Bruce has more experience and more martial arts training where as Dick has a varied training as well as his natural born accrobatic skills that allow both overcome the foes.

Team 2

Shang-Chi is either equal to or a notch above Batman and, imo, he's faster.

I personally havent seen anything from IF without his chi, so I'm gonna say Dick beats him. But it wont be easy.

Mister X beats Cassandra, unless he doesnt have his powers.

Shang isn't better than Bruce, he hasn't done anything to suggest otherwise.

How does Mister X beat Cassandra?

Ehhhh actually I want to take that back. Batman is the better fighter, but I still think Shang-Chi is faster

Mister X beats Cassandra with his TP Fighting style

Shang isn't faster either, the only real speed feat he has was dodging bullets.

How does X beat Cassandra with his TP when Cass can practically do the same thing with body reading?

Most of Batman's bullet dodging feats are debatable anyways. He dodges the bullet but he also dodges the aim itself. Its not like he could dodge a bullet after its fired. Shang Chi can....and it looks like he was turned away also

Yes, the body reading....she has to wait for the person to make the move before she reads their movements. Mr. X just has to read her thoughts. His power trumps her skill. He goes for a punch, Cass reads it and begins her counter, Mr. X is already in her mind, he counters her counter.

But, I guess it could just keep going on and on like that so this may turn out to be a draw. However, if anything, I would give Mr.X the majority.

Another thing that was not mentioned was how this ability was negated by her learning to speak.  She did have issue reading people once she opened up.

Could she also be Providence or Void?  I know that its a much LONGGGER stretch, but an option.  I like the fact that this mystery woman is envolved in it all.  I wonder if they show the beginning of StormWatch later and show her in that creation.
