In the last arc of the avengers, they explained that the time is actualy a living thing, a very delicate one so time traveling and things a like could destroy the entire universe. but in the X-men they travel forward and back every week. I mean bastion uses every knowledge he have to kill the x-men even bring sentinels from the future, stiker also used nimrod memory to kill any mutant dangerous for his crusade.
