I just flat out don't like DC Comics I will say I love Constantine, but thank god that is actually vertigo, but sadly own by DC.
 
I mean ok great with out superman we wouldn't have any of the comics we have today. still does not mean that superman should still be relevant today or around for that matter, because he is just a continuing they same persona that he was when he was first created. I mean somebody who has been around as long as him you think he would have change his record by now. He reminds me of a music Band that was fantastic when they first appeared on the scene, but after being around so long and refusing  to retire after they stop being on top and continued to tour even if they are getting worse with age.

Most of the reason why I don't like Superman have been pretty much summed up all ready by people on this discussion. However the main point that nobody seems to ask, but I want to know is. If the radiation from kryptonite is what weakens superman than how come so much exposure from this lethal radiation has not cause him to have develop some kind of cancer or a tumor growth. I am supposed to believe that something that is deadly and can weaken him with such a small amount in close proximity to him and he has not develop any kind of physical damage from such prolong exposure. For the love of god nobody better mention about the other different kinds of kryptonite that had been created and have different effects on him, because really WTF? I mean instead of finding original ways to defeat him you come up with red kryptonite.  I would love to see a story arch were superman has to go through chemo, than again how would they remove the tumor if his skin his so impenetrable would they use kryptonite medical utensils.
