Plain and simple, it brought me back to comics.  I'm 32 years old and getting into comics for really the first time.  And it all comes down to Buffy and me being a sucker for anything Joss Whedon does.  Yes, I'll be watching Dollhouse on Friday...

I would say that for a new team or team of relative unknowns I would go uniforms.

For a team of established heroes, than not so much.

It also goes to the durability of the team.  if it's a permanent joining and this is the main identity of the individuals, then yeah, unis identify them as such.  If it's a slapped together team for odd missions or the individuals have a career outside the team, then no, uniforms are a waste.
