Im the type of person who doesnt really express to people that they're an avid comic reader. One because im a teenager and two cause im a teenage girl (yes. seriously.). But i noticed that when people are able to admit they read comics, they get made fun of. Everyone always assumes they're dorks, nerds, or geeks. I have also noticed that a lot of people wont admit it. i had a fifteen minute conversation about Batman with one of those big, scary, football players in my biology class. it was amazing. Im sure if all those comic reading jocks, band geeks, artists, dancers, and cheerleaders were willing to admit it then they would be looked at in a whole different way. I am willing to admit, however, that i will not start this. Im scared. there are a lot of judgemental people out there. but if someone else wants to then thats perfectly ok. i wont judge you.
