@cosmo111687: Thank you Cosmo - I will be doing some heavy Batman rereading soon, oh and I have not read Year One yet. Plus might be blogging about him (I like Batman sometimes but other times don't, so will try and deconstruct the why and how) Oh Marvel hmm, I am a few months behind on Marvel (and DC) Journey Into Mystery I really liked - I wouldn't recommend its current issues though as its in the middle of a mini cross over and changing creative team and focus soon but Kieron Gillen's first two or three arcs are great. Its new direction seems potentially promising as well, as will focus on Sif and will be written by Kathryn Immonen but you never know. X-Factor I always like as well and its stand alone apart from other books for the most part. Plus PAD has had years on it so it flows really well.

@SC: Some of these are my favourite Batman books. I just re-read Year One and I think it's really, REALLY well done. But my favourite Batman stories are probably Gotham Central: Half A Life, Batman: Ego, and the whole Batman/Catwoman relationship from Long Halloween to Heart of Hush. While we're exchanging recommendations, which are your favourite Marvel stories? (Journey Into Mystery is up there, yes?)
