Captain Marvel's death was one of the most iconic to me because he died from cancer, something none of the above died from! It really touched the real world more so than the other mentioned deaths, because cancer is a real world issue. Colossus would be next for me because he was one of my favorite X-men, and he gave his life to safe mutant kind from the Legacy virus. Truly earth shattering!

exactly. those two really made an impact on me......Cap Marv's because it was monumental at the time, and colossus.....well ditto.

I was a kid when Mar-Vell died , that's another reason it stuck on me! I still have the TPB!

Yeah, me too. The scene with everybody coming to the funeral is iconic.

@madeinbangladesh: yeah.....................nobody stays dead lol.....

@cosmicallyaware1: I am still sad about Ricard dying. It's fitting though. That was a damn heroic death and I hate how they brought back Quill.

Jackdaw in Captain Britain. Sh** character, but his death hit home for Brian Braddock.

true. i feel that there are many of those type deaths out there, ones that really affect and drive characters. what about Jericho in Teen Titans back in the day?
