hello, there is a debate on another site about the speed limits of classic Quicksilver...most people (including myself) seem to remember Quicksilver was able to run approximately the speed of sound before Isotope E, and Mach V or so after...some others are stating Quicksilver was limited to 175MPH before the Isotope E, which seems ridiculous...Marvel's official site has his classic levels listed as speed of sound...does anyone have any scans that might be definitive? Thanks...
btw, I'm a high school English teacher, we are scripting comic scenes...I wanted to show examples of his sound effects to add to the depth of the story, instead of the generic "bam" and "pow" I would normally get...thanks again...
Is there any site where they showcase scans of the great sound effects scripted by Van Lente? I have googled extensively, and can only find text listings...I would greatly appreciate a link...
I think they tried to push Gambit as the next big thing who Wolverine would "pass the torch to" so to speak, as Claremenont had Gambit beat Wolverine in spar early in his tenure ("Bang, you dead")...while more popular than Cable, I don't think he maintained Wolverine level stardom...
