Is anyone aware if development is still moving forward on the Comicvine APIs?

After so many months basic filtering of list resources is still not possible. It seems like the APIs have been abandoned, which is a great pity since they have so much potential.

I'd certainly like to see this - searching for an issue seems fundamental to a comic book database.
