Love all these characters! Dick, in my opinion, was best on his own being independent Nightwing. Wasn't a big fan of him as Robin, but who am I to say? He wasn't the Robin of my generation, so no hard feelings! I really don't like him as Batman; I guess I just still miss Bruce, but I've kinda grown accustom. I will be a very sad and mopey fan if Grant Morrison kills him off for good.
Jason Todd is a character that isn't well-liked, but I really don't mind him. As Robin, I guess he could never compare to Dick, and that's what made him the target for hate. Well, the kid had anger issues, and it all blew up in Bruce's face. Really liked him in Battle for the Cowl, but recently, the character in my opinion has been really abused. Like a DC punching bag! I mean, I was so upset about the new Red Hood crap! When does Jason EVER have a sidekick?! I mean, he practically hates working with other people! And I can't think of anyone who would want to work with him! He double crosses people (The Countdown)
Tim is one of my favorite Batman characters! Probably the best Robin so far (waiting to see how Damian does) I loved him as Robin, but he got VERY annoying towards the end. VERY. So, i guess I'm just happy that he's more of an independent character (besides the fact that he moved in with Dick) Red Robin is kinda like his Nightwing. It's a chance for him to become more of his own person and spread his wings. I like him now more than ever.
Stephanie Brown was always a character that I liked. Spoiler was awesome - mostly because she was self-made. But Robin was a DISASTER! She focused so hard on getting Bruce's training and acceptance that she kinda lost herself (and a boyfriend.) She started a gang war, and...yeah. TOTAL failure. But as Batgirl, i understand that she will never live up to Cassandra Cain, but I like her! She's fun! She really brings a different spin to a Bat book in these times.
Damian Wayne I've liked from the very beginning! His nastiness cracked me up. While others found him annoying and bratty, I loved that about him! I mean, what can you expect from a boy raised by assassins?! Recently, he has surprised me! I took one look at the new Dynamic Duo and said "This will NEVER work! It's like Batman and Robin are switching places! Dick is the happy one, and Damian is the let's-get-down-to-business one! This is insanity!! Damian will tear him to shreds with his words! He'll NEVER NEVER NEVER trust Dick!" I was wrong. Damian has grown accustomed to his mentor. Really shocking! So far I have liked his spin on Robin... He might be my favorite yet....
So, as for favorite Robin........Tim or Damian....... Damian is not finished yet, so I shall wait and see.
