Wife & Action Figure Collection

I have a wife who whole heartedly supports my comic habit. But I'm wanting to get back into action figure collecting.
I have a closet where I have all my "nerdy" stuff in my office and I'm afraid when I get back into the figures that my collection will need to expand OUT!!
So I was wanting to know from all of you if you had an interesting or funny compromise or something you have to do in order for you to continue enjoying your inner child?
