My guess is dc does not want to invest in Aquaman too much anymore. Aquaman don't have much future in tv or the movies. The Justice league movie probably won't have Aquaman.

If no costumes are used, it could be like a typical cw high school drama show with a little bit of super heroics that hopefully will not be too expensive in special effects. If Diana does not have too many powers, it could look more like a kung fu show. The most expense in special effects could be with the mythology villains and can save money by having the villains disguised as humans most of the time.

People easily become bored and might not be too keen to see Lex and Zod again.

The first thing to fix for Superman is the costume. For both the movie and the comics, Superman looks like a male ballet dancer.

Once dc decides there is a place for Donna in the New 52, maybe they will find some good creators to work on Donna.

For Ravagers, just bring back Cyborg, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and Rose. Maybe Cyborg can be a member of both JL and Ravagers. Maybe put Caitlin in a new Gen 13 reboot.

Villains like Deathstroke, Lex, Brainiac who are supposed to be smart have a useless power bec. they somehow always get beaten so you have to wonder if they were really smart or not.

DC needs to do better than the 1990s Youngblood, Brigade, Berzerkers, Hellstrike, New Men, Doom's IV if they want Ravagers to survive.

Based on the description, Diana will be out of her own country and trying to get used to human life and ice cream. Maybe Diana will be spying for the amazons or just studying human cultures.

I hope it is done like the Percy Jackson movie. For season 1, every episode can fight a mythology character who is in disguise as a human similar to Buffy and the Grimm tv show. Diana also needs to do the whole football team.
