Dc has many existing characters that have not yet been used in the New 52 reboots from Fawcett, Charlton, Milestone and Wildstorm. I prefer DC just reboot all of the Legionnaires as 21st century earth people similar to the x-men to compete with the x-men. Many old justice society characters are not being used on main earth and I prefer just reboot on main earth : iron munro, helena kosmatos, flying fox, power girl, helena bertinelli, jay garrick, alan scott, kendra saunders, kent nelson, al pratt, ted grant, etc. If you look at the Arrow tv show, it is obvious that Helena Bertinelli is more useful on the main earth with no ties to earth 2. I also prefer to reboot the Crime Syndicate on the main earth.

New writer Dan Jurgens starts in Fury of Firestorm 13 and is still in the title up to 17.

CW shows are able to survive on very few viewers like 1 to 2 million viewers which is why Smallville lasted 10 seasons. The new Amazon tv show can even last 10 seasons like Smallville. All it needs is a cute actress and a believable love story with Steve Trevor. Most of the earlier seasons of Smallville were carried by the believable Clark and Lana Lang romance and tons of love triangles.

Make Superman wear a Darth Vader helmet.

There are probably limits on how tough are the skin and internal organs of Superman.

Even the last Bourne Legacy movie was using super powers both for the heroes and the villains, so there is already lots of competition out there bec. DC was too slow in making movies.

I can also invent explanations why Superman is allergic to kryptnite, red suns and magic but all of these arbitrary and visually idiotic weaknesses are not really necessary if Superman is not too powerful for most of the comic book stories. I started in the bronze age and orange suns were also popular when I was a kid.

I have to agree that improving the comics is the first step which explains many of the New 52 reboots which seem to be mainly to fix the dc properties to make them ready for the movies. Dc will need more reboots so we can see more dc movies.

With the New 52 reboots, dc wants to keep Teen Titans as the justice league academy and the generation chosen was the Tim, Cassie and Bart generation and no room left for the generation of Donna and Wally who were in the silver age Teen Titans. Ravagers needs more popular stars to survive which is why I suggested Cyborg, Starfire, Beast Boy, Raven and Rose.

I would like to see bulletman rebooted on the main earth.
