@Silkcuts: Thanks for the kind words. Glad to see that I could hold my own with all the other great reviewers on the project.
Like Hayden, I think it would be great to see what you could do with video reviews. While comics may be largely dependent on the written word, visuals are just as important in their expression (I think, anyway) and it's great that, as a medium, comics inspire people to express their opinions in multiple ways, be they written, recorded, sang, built or whatever else people can come up with.
I really like the finished product. Despite initially preferring the helmet, I have to admit that the crown looks pretty awesome. I also really like the armored look of the costume. Job well done. A thumbs up from me.
If I'm not mistaken, their first encounter was in Amazing Spider-Man #14, though I could be wrong. Not quite a full fledged battle, but they tangled for a bit. They met again in Amazing Spider-Man 119 & 120, which was more like an actual battle, though the military was involved as well, so they weren't the only combatants.
The story in the Edge of Time game, which sees an evil scientist from 2099 traveling back in time in the hope of destroying Spider-Man, is said to be very character driven.
Hopefully that turns out to be true. Shattered Dimensions was really good, but was lacking that. Since Beenox is handling development again, I'm not worried about the game being fun, but the subject of story is a different issue.
" I've just been super happy for Spider Man lately, aside from Jameson's death, hes life is going great. So Im dreading for it all to come crashing down. Fear itself with probably knock him down a few pegs, but I think he'll be on the FF till the torch comes back, and Marvels kinda said that wasnt going to happen any time soon "
I agree with you. Spider-Man is doing great right now, and I'm happy about it to! He will be on the team until the Human Torch returns, seeing as that is who's role is is taking. When Johnny comes back (probably not for at least 1 or 2 yrs) Spidey will probably have to leave. "
He'll probably always have honorary membership regardless of what happens. He's too close to the family not to. That's assuming of course, that when Johnny does come back the team is still the Future Foundation and doesn't revert back to the Fantastic Four.
" I think he does. He has stated repeatedly he still loves Gwen and as you said, In House of M where everyone got their biggest desire, and Peter was married to GWEN and not MJ. "
You could make the argument though, that his greatest desire wasn't necessarily to be married to Gwen instead of MJ, but to never have failed to save Gwendy in the first place. He's carried her death with him ever since it happened and it's probably the only event in his life that's carried more weight than Ben's death. His greatest desire could very well have been to be able to live without that guilt, which means in HoM he would have saved her on the bridge and they would have gone on to marry.
