*gets name dropped* Honestly, I'd like to thank the Academy for allowing me the opportunities to hone my craft.
@joseph_stark: Honestly, you need something within your narrative that'd jump start Joseph into getting his shit together. Maybe someone dies, his funds get cut, something that'll make him think "Fuck, I gotta step up."
For me, specifically with Clarice, I always imagined her as this unattractive dork in high school who got stomped all over. Being nice wasn't getting her anywhere, being herself made it worse, and she thought her life was over...until her powers set in. She felt like she was given this sense of purpose by God himself and to finally have power was an impetus to build a future worth a thousand words (Think Carrie without killing the student body). Clarice would force her way to the top of the mountain through her power....in order to look down on all those who once pitied her.
Where her impetus was being given power after being fragile and powerless......Joseph's can be the sense of guilt, shame, or something connected to being within his brother's shadow being thrown onto him.
However, he gives me the vibe that he's never once cared about being in his shadow. So, here in lies the gift of being in the rpg section.
INTERACTION. With a colorful cast of characters.....Joseph can go onto this new path through some measure of duress, enlightenment, or whatever floats your boat. Hit someone up, pitch an idea, and see where it takes you. I'd be willing to help if you'd like. That's unless you want this to be an internal journey.
(I do hope this was at least a bit helpful. Animus pretty much covered the main stuff)
