Overall Smallville is the blueprint for any comic based tv show. There were a few cheesey parts that they should never have used or fleshed it out.  The Red Arrow kid was lame. Darkseid and the whole build up to a battle should have been definitely been fleshed out. It would have been better to see Clark in costume and not computer generated.

I will give props to tying the series finale up with showing Luthor becoming President, which they did in season one, and showing his trials from the past seasons. The faithful who have been watching for 10 seasons were able to see Superman in the end a payoff for the everyone who had been watching the last 10 years. I was glad to see this last season that everyone that had been part of the decade spanning story was able to make a brief cameo here and there. Kristen Kreuk aka Lana never appeared. The other disappoinments were all the "Justice Leaguers" never appeared on screen and The Hawkman Hawkgirl story never came to pass. There was actress who signed to play Hawkgirl at the beginning of the season. There was an article posted here on comicvine.

Overall very good. Began strong, stayed strong, and ended strong. The heroes and villians stayed true to therer comic book counterparts and did not get too far off comic book reservation status.

NBC has not liked anything dealing in sci-fi and fantasy since the 90's. This does not surprise me.

The CW which is still controlled partly by Warner Brothers should pick up Human Target and Wonder Woman and put there properties on the network.

Glad this quest is over. I had to read through all the comments to piece this quest together. The hardest powers were Scarlet Witch and the first appearance of a power for Supes.

The trailer looks to have more depth of a storyline than the original. I hope the storyarcs are a little more broader and it looks like Lion-o and company are already on the #rd Earth not escaping like they did in the original only to crash land on a planet.

There was a scene on youtube that showed jaime reyes becoming the blue beetle. It was beleived to be part of a blue beetle series. It is unknown if this was for the upcoming episode. the scene showed a sleeping reyes and the blue scarab flying into his bedroom and transforming him into the blue beetle.

I saw the new characters created for the flashpoint story arc. I wonder of the character Blackout will join the main DCU when the story arc ends like Nate Grey did in the X-Men story arc during the 90's.

It reminds me of the 90's event Age of Apocalypse where BIshop knew the world he was transported to was wrong.  The Outsider seems like it would be Luthor. The Secret Seven looks like Shade the Changing Man and a back drop of the Enchantress. The Canterbury Cricket maybe TheChangeling.
The characters getting the spotlight during the minis are the established characters that have been around for decades. They never cam to a point where they could inspire other generations of heroes The new Wonder Girl seems to be the only established new generation hero. The hero laying unconscious in the Outsider backdrop, could that be Wild Dog?
