Magneto, Magik, Hope and Danger put up their shields.
Magik, (magic) Danger (tech), Hope and Emma (TP) cloak so Ego doesn't even sense them. Magik has even gone intangible on occasion.
Defense
Magik and Hope keep teleporting away minions, attacks etc..to give them breathing space. (Assuming Ego can even track them) They can also teleport those same attacks right back at Ego's vulnerable part. Her Demons can also keep away tons of fodder. They are basically endless.
Offense
Magik opens portals straight to his most vulnerable part (brain, heart, whatever that is, etc..)teleport in Colossus, demons with transmode virus, space debris, asteroids, telefrag, energy blasts, hard light constructs, etc..and start tearing up whatever that vulnerable par that is.
Additional options:
Magik has gone to different time periods in the middle of battle to get weapons, even different heroes like future x-men, she went to Doc Strange in the past to get the eye of agamotto, she could probably get or transmute stuff for Magneto to work with.
Not in character, but Magik can also dump or merge/infest Ego with Limbo and theoretically take control of him. Limbo ripped apart the Dark Dimension and infested 616 Earth.
Round 1 - Team 1 in a good battle. TP Edge, Hope has powers of both teams, Magik and her hax can deal with all the magical based foes that might give non magical based foes issues, Iceman is the hardest to put down physically.
Round 2 - team 1 bloodlusted have a much higher ceiling. Magik (Darkchilde) Jean, Storm (Hadari Yao stuff), Hope and Bobby get a huge power up. They actually have different forms. Although I don't know if Jean, Storm and Hope can access these forms (phoenix, pink form, Hadari, etc...)by just letting loose in a random encounter.
@chiq Multiversal is a term for characters who either have power on a scale where they can affect multiple universes or have only one iteration of themselves in all of the universes.
Yes. I know that's the general definition, however like the post i posted above. Hell Lords also have some feats of affecting multiple realities. Their powers also have statements attached to it like omniverse or multiverse. However I don't think they are considered multiverse level threats.
Your post of Merlyn and Mad Jim Jaspers however does seem to put Merlyn in a superior light. Though I honestly don't know much about both characters.
