Children of the Damned

The Children of the Damned have been reassembled. The team is composed of mirror opposites of the original members, sinners instead of saviors. Now, Cain has been sent out to recruit new members for the Fog's twisted organization.

First mission of the new Children of Damned.

The Fog is given the task to retrieve some files from a lab in New Mexico by a mysterious benefactor and decides to bring the team along on this familiar mission.

Will the lab survive the slaughter and what familiar faces wait for our valiant villains?

“And so that is your mission.” The good doctor finished, and then there was a buzz as the line went dead. All records of the conversations would be destroyed; no doubt even the phone The Fog had used wouldn’t work anymore. Fog didn’t care, he quickly tossed the cell phone into a bin; he had killed a man for the phone, just to make sure the line would be secure. Security was the name of game for now, information was the most powerful weapon in this war and The Fog intended to win, which is why he needed those files. He could no doubt go to the lab and get them himself; his formidable powers would ensure that. But he decided to take the team along for the ride, Cain was soaking up money by the hour so he might as well be given something to do, and King Mab was no doubt growing anxious waiting for some blood to spill. Fog called up two men to go to his allies and tell them where to meet up with him, no doubt Cain and Mab would kill the massagers after they finished their delivery, which was all the better for Fog, after all he wanted to cause as much chaos as humanly possible and death was just one more faucet of its endless stream.

The Fog stood unmoving in the horrid cold as his allies arrives, his beasts surrounded him as a swarm of whirling chaos, ready to create a living shield if need be, Fog was not foolish enough to trust his allies given their demeanor. “You’re on time. I’m surprised.” He said with a savage grin, his eyes giving an otherworldly glow. “Right, our mission is to go in and steal some files from the base’s main computer. It’s impossible to get anywhere else so you are not to damage any of the electronics inside.” The Fog motioned one of his beasts towards the base’s gate, the beast in turn rushed towards guard tower just outside of the base. The gate soon opened as a body fell from the tower. The Fog continued his briefing as he walked towards the open gate. “As for the staff of this fine establishment, they are far more expendable. In fact...” He said with a massive grin. “I want you to kill them all.” Alarms began to blare as Fog entered the base, and his beasts rushing at the nearest guards. “Go to town boys!” The Fog yelled, filled with bloodlust.

The New Children of the Damned

After The Knights of Dawn began it seemed that the CoD name was of no more use, and yet someone had plans for the identity, plans that spelled disaster for the KoD and everything they held dear

The living nightmare

A mysterious mystic with the power to summon monsters from ones worst nightmares. The Fog took the CoD named and warped it into it's present form, recruiting a team of dark mirrors of CoD's past members. He seems to be motivated only by chaos, and yet is still a very crafty foe.

The Maverick Hitman

Cain was a hitman/mercenary without a cause. No matter how horrible it was he would do it for the right amount of money. So when the Fog offered up a large sum of money for his service Cain was on board in a second. Due to his Hitman nature Cain is the least loyal member of the team upon it's creation, but that won't keep him from making things very personal for anyone who stands in his way.

The Fay King

King Mab was not motivated by money or chaos, instead he was motivated by insane bloodlust and unlike his allies he had the sheer power to keep his insane bloodlust slated. Mab joined CoD with the promise of bloodshed and it was a promise that would be kept, even if his allies didn't want it to be. The outright most powerful and most dangerous member of the team, King Mab is a valuable danger to have around.

[For those interested we are accepting new members. You can good, evil, or neutral as long as your actions end up looking very, very evil. Must be willing to kill. Street level recommended. No telepaths(canon reasons). We're cool with noobs on this team.]

Introducing the newest addition to the team, Afterimage!

Combysses is on the attack and trying to uncover an ancient, other worldly artifact he believes is buried beneath the icy slopes of the Himalayas. He is decimating villages and destroying anything in his way to attain the suit, which will grant him power the likes of which no force on Earth can contend with. The first team to hear is fast on the scene and the COD needs to act fast or there will be no stopping him.

With most of the Vine Syndicate away from home, Longshot and a small group of COD members plan to infiltrate the base and sabotage the team with the hope of hindering their operation. The only problem? They get spotted.
