Personally, I think it's gross.

Considering the Gotham City Sirens have their own gig, I won't mind seeing more Jason/Red Hood stories. The current "Lost Days" implies to me that it's only the 6-issue arc and nothing more - however I would love to be wrong on that and see more stories in his own series (where we see more of his own motivations and the sort of work he does).

Now that he's already made his stand against Batman and the rest of the family, it will be interesting to see when they work/agree together and when they don't - where and when that line is drawn and/or crossed.

The sort answer - no - Bruce/Batman doesn't need love in his life. But that's not going to stop Hollywood from adding it in.

"The point I'm trying to make though, is that he's just a bit more qualified than someone like (and if I'm wrong, please correct me) Guy Gardner."

I completely agree! Bruce is more then qualified and in an Elseworld, it would be AWESOME to see him dominate Earth as the only hero - but also see how that would run him ragged (even moreso then usual). There was an issue of Superman/Batman in which Clark and Bruce traded powers (in the sense that Clark was stripped of his powers and became mortal while Bruce could do everything Superman could do - he spent the next 72 hours working, non-stop because hey, he didn't need to - but in doing so he sacrificed his human connections - he was far from grounded)

Lost my train of thought. Hm.

Anyway! It would be great to see Bruce as a Green Lantern, for good or for worse. (Just as we saw the destructive power an evil-ish Clark in the Elseworld series Red Son could cause on a global level - I'd love to see a Green Lantern Bruce/Batman handled properly).

I guess they can't let Bruce do everything?

Since there was a tendency in Justice League (animated tv show and quite a few comic issues as well) where there would be some dilemma and for some reason Batman and/or Superman were not available at the time, but soon as they arrive on the scene, they figure out what no one else could and solve the problem - because they are just that awesome. It begins to feel like a running joke as to Bruce being an intelligent (but arrogant) problem solver. So with that in mind, perhaps Hal and the other lanterns could be humbled by the experience of being a Green Lantern, while perhaps Bruce would only use it as a means to an end? Just another gadget? shrug.

I have yet to see a Batman-Green Lantern handled properly, in my opinion. As I would consider Bruce/Batman to be nothing BUT willpower (after all, that's the theory that the most recent story arcs are founded in: that Bruce has such strong willpower that he'll be able to navigate his way through time to return to the current era). I think if he were put inside the source at the center of the universe, he could power the thing himself!

To quote the synops: "Damian might not want to join you, he's more than happy to lead you!" ^_^

Agreed. Though his character would be too stubborn to quit if he ever got in, I think. But I don't think Damian would take the Teen Titans seriously - too much like the girl scouts. I think he wants to be his father's son and nothing else (who as you may recall from JLA, isn't exactly a team player either).

Well done breaking it all down.

All I can say is, who knows. Still have to wait some time before we find out.

For the most part I enjoyed this movie. Not as great as Public Enemies, but it was fun.

Though while I understand that movies based on comics will never be exact adaptations, changing the ending of the Supergirl story arc (Superman-Batman issues #8-13), specifically #12 and #13 was a real disappointment. I was looking forward to seeing the League join in to fix up Kent Farms after Darkseid and Superman fight it out, plus faking Supergirl's death so that they could ensure that Darkseid would leave her alone. Plus the scene where she addresses the League to state that she hopes to earn their respect and represent the Superman Family well.

All important stuff, in my opinion, that was missing.

As for the scene where Clark takes Kara shopping, to be like an Earth girl - I thought it was funny, rather then insulting. By now, I would hope we (as intelligent human beings) know that there are more to women then shopping and shoes (even if on the surface, some women still perpetuate that image). I thought it was amusing, that Clark (an alien) thinks of this as a suitable activity - because that's what he observes in human girls - he doesn't know better - and therefore Kara doesn't know better.

@Metatron_Da_Don:
I know - Jim and Barbara look more like husband and wife then father and daughter - ugh! But perhaps that is just an artist fail? I understand that from the story point of view, they were needed to help get Batman's son on the journey to better represent his father and what Batman really stands for - but it does look a bit silly.
